| 1 [2:205] | Wa-itha tawalla saAAafee al-ardi liyufsida feeha wayuhlika alharthawaalnnasla waAllahu la yuhibbualfasada |  وإذا تولى سعى في الأرض ليفسد فيها ويهلك الحرث والنسل والله لا يحب الفسادوَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ الْحَرْثَ وَالنَّسْلَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الفَسَادَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تولى - he turns away| سعى - he strives| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ليفسد - to spread corruption| فيها - [in it],| ويهلك - and destroys| الحرث - the crops| والنسل - and progeny.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الفساد - [the] corruption.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:82] | Faman tawalla baAAda thalikafaola-ika humu alfasiqoona | فمن تولى بعد ذلك فأولئك هم الفاسقون فَمَن تَوَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| تولى - turns away| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فأولئك - then those| هم - they| الفاسقون - (are) the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:80] | Man yutiAAi alrrasoola faqad ataAAaAllaha waman tawalla fama arsalnakaAAalayhim hafeethan | من يطع الرسول فقد أطاع الله ومن تولى فما أرسلناك عليهم حفيظا مَّنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللّهَ وَمَن تَوَلَّى فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا | |||||
| Words | |من - (He) who| يطع - obeys| الرسول - the Messenger| فقد - then surely| أطاع - he obeyed| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| تولى - turns away -| فما - then not| أرسلناك - We (have) sent you| عليهم - over them| حفيظا - (as) a guardian.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:115] | Waman yushaqiqi alrrasoolamin baAAdi ma tabayyana lahu alhuda wayattabiAAghayra sabeeli almu/mineena nuwallihi ma tawallawanuslihi jahannama wasaat maseeran | ومن يشاقق الرسول من بعد ما تبين له الهدى ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين نوله ما تولى ونصله جهنم وساءت مصيرا وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدَى وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِ مَا تَوَلَّى وَنُصْلِهِ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يشاقق - opposes| الرسول - the Messenger| من - from| بعد - after| ما - what| تبين - (has) become clear| له - to him| الهدى - (of) the guidance,| ويتبع - and he follows| غير - other than| سبيل - (the) way| المؤمنين - (of) the believers,| نوله - We will turn him| ما - (to) what| تولى - he (has) turned| ونصله - and We will burn him| جهنم - (in) Hell| وساءت - and evil it is| مصيرا - (as) a destination.| | ||||||
| 5 [24:11] | Inna allatheena jaoo bial-ifkiAAusbatun minkum la tahsaboohu sharran lakumbal huwa khayrun lakum likulli imri-in minhum ma iktasabamina al-ithmi waallathee tawalla kibrahuminhum lahu AAathabun AAatheemun | إن الذين جاءوا بالإفك عصبة منكم لا تحسبوه شرا لكم بل هو خير لكم لكل امرئ منهم ما اكتسب من الإثم والذي تولى كبره منهم له عذاب عظيم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاؤُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِّنكُمْ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّا لَّكُم بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُم مَّا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ مِنْهُمْ لَهُ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| جاءوا - brought| بالإفك - the lie| عصبة - (are) a group| منكم - among you.| لا - (Do) not| تحسبوه - think it| شرا - bad| لكم - for you;| بل - nay,| هو - it| خير - (is) good| لكم - for you.| لكل - For every| امرئ - person| منهم - among them| ما - (is) what| اكتسب - he earned| من - of| الإثم - the sin,| والذي - and the one who| تولى - took upon himself a greater share of it| كبره - took upon himself a greater share of it| منهم - among them -| له - for him| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 6 [28:24] | Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawallaila alththilli faqala rabbiinnee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun | فسقى لهما ثم تولى إلى الظل فقال رب إني لما أنزلت إلي من خير فقير فَسَقَى لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّى إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |فسقى - So he watered| لهما - for them.| ثم - Then| تولى - he turned back| إلى - to| الظل - the shade| فقال - and said,| رب - "My Lord!| إني - Indeed, I am| لما - of whatever| أنزلت - You send| إلي - to me| من - of| خير - good| فقير - (in) need."| | ||||||
| 7 [53:29] | FaaAArid AAan man tawalla AAanthikrina walam yurid illa alhayataalddunya | فأعرض عن من تولى عن ذكرنا ولم يرد إلا الحياة الدنيا فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّى عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا | |||||
