| 1 [6:3] | Wahuwa Allahu fee alssamawatiwafee al-ardi yaAAlamu sirrakum wajahrakum wayaAAlamu mataksiboona |  وهو الله في السماوات وفي الأرض يعلم سركم وجهركم ويعلم ما تكسبونوَهُوَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الله - (is) Allah| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| وفي - and in| الأرض - the earth.| يعلم - He knows| سركم - your secret| وجهركم - and what you make public| ويعلم - and He knows| ما - what| تكسبون - you earn.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:39] | Waqalat oolahum li-okhrahumfama kana lakum AAalayna min fadlinfathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum taksiboona | وقالت أولاهم لأخراهم فما كان لكم علينا من فضل فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكسبون وَقَالَتْ أُولاَهُمْ لِأُخْرَاهُمْ فَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍ فَذُوقُواْ الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And (will) say| أولاهم - (the) first of them| لأخراهم - to (the) last of them,| فما - "Then not| كان - is| لكم - for you| علينا - upon us| من - any| فضل - superiority,| فذوقوا - so taste| العذاب - the punishment| بما - for what| كنتم - you used to| تكسبون - earn."| | ||||||
| 3 [10:52] | Thumma qeela lillatheena thalamoothooqoo AAathaba alkhuldi hal tujzawna illabima kuntum taksiboona | ثم قيل للذين ظلموا ذوقوا عذاب الخلد هل تجزون إلا بما كنتم تكسبون ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قيل - it will be said| للذين - to those who| ظلموا - wronged,| ذوقوا - "Taste| عذاب - punishment| الخلد - the everlasting.| هل - Are you (being) recompensed| تجزون - Are you (being) recompensed| إلا - except| بما - for what| كنتم - you used (to)| تكسبون - earn?"| | ||||||
| 4 [39:24] | Afaman yattaqee biwajhihi soo-a alAAathabiyawma alqiyamati waqeela lilththalimeenathooqoo ma kuntum taksiboona | أفمن يتقي بوجهه سوء العذاب يوم القيامة وقيل للظالمين ذوقوا ما كنتم تكسبون أَفَمَن يَتَّقِي بِوَجْهِهِ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then (is) he who| يتقي - will shield| بوجهه - with his face| سوء - (the) worst| العذاب - punishment| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection?| وقيل - And it will be said| للظالمين - to the wrongdoers,| ذوقوا - "Taste| ما - what| كنتم - you used to| تكسبون - earn."| | ||||||
