| 1 [2:21] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuoAAbudoo rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum waallatheenamin qablikum laAAallakum tattaqoona |  يا أيها الناس اعبدوا ربكم الذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقونيَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الناس - mankind!| اعبدوا - worship| ربكم - your Lord,| الذي - the One Who| خلقكم - created you| والذين - and those| من - from| قبلكم - before you,| لعلكم - so that you may| تتقون - become righteous.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:63] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumwarafaAAna fawqakumu alttoora khuthooma ataynakum biquwwatin waothkurooma feehi laAAallakum tattaqoona | وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم ورفعنا فوقكم الطور خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقون وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant| ورفعنا - and We raised| فوقكم - over you| الطور - the mount,| خذوا - "Hold| ما - what| آتيناكم - We have given you| بقوة - with strength,| واذكروا - and remember| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it,| لعلكم - perhaps you| تتقون - (would become) righteous."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:179] | Walakum fee alqisasi hayatunya olee al-albabi laAAallakum tattaqoona | ولكم في القصاص حياة يا أولي الألباب لعلكم تتقون وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَاْ أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| في - in| القصاص - the legal retribution| حياة - (is) life,| يا - O| أولي - O men| الألباب - (of) understanding!| لعلكم - So that you may| تتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:183] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookutiba AAalaykumu alssiyamu kamakutiba AAala allatheena min qablikum laAAallakumtattaqoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كتب - Is prescribed| عليكم - for you| الصيام - [the] fasting| كما - as| كتب - was prescribed| على - to| الذين - those| من - from| قبلكم - before you,| لعلكم - so that you may| تتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:153] | Waanna hatha sirateemustaqeeman faittabiAAoohu wala tattabiAAoo alssubulafatafarraqa bikum AAan sabeelihi thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tattaqoona | وأن هذا صراطي مستقيما فاتبعوه ولا تتبعوا السبل فتفرق بكم عن سبيله ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تتقون وَأَنَّ هَـذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأن - And that,| هذا - this| صراطي - (is) My path,| مستقيما - straight,| فاتبعوه - so follow it.| ولا - And (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| السبل - the (other) paths,| فتفرق - then they will separate| بكم - you| عن - from| سبيله - His path.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - [with it]| لعلكم - so that you may| تتقون - become righteous.| | ||||||
| 6 [7:65] | Wa-ila AAadin akhahumhoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona | وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون وَإِلَى عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُوداً قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| عاد - Aad| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| هودا - Hud.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| أفلا - Then will not| تتقون - you fear (Allah)?"| | ||||||
| 7 [7:171] | Wa-ith nataqna aljabalafawqahum kaannahu thullatun wathannooannahu waqiAAun bihim khuthoo ma ataynakumbiquwwatin waothkuroo ma feehi laAAallakumtattaqoona | وإذ نتقنا الجبل فوقهم كأنه ظلة وظنوا أنه واقع بهم خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقون وَإِذ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُ ظُلَّةٌ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| نتقنا - We raised| الجبل - the mountain| فوقهم - above them| كأنه - as if it was| ظلة - a canopy| وظنوا - and they thought| أنه - that it| واقع - (would) fall| بهم - upon them,| خذوا - (We said), "Take| ما - what| آتيناكم - We have given you| بقوة - with strength| واذكروا - and remember| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it| لعلكم - so that you may| تتقون - fear Allah."| | ||||||
| 8 [10:31] | Qul man yarzuqukum mina alssama-iwaal-ardi amman yamliku alssamAAa waal-absarawaman yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti wayukhriju almayyitamina alhayyi waman yudabbiru al-amra fasayaqooloona Allahufaqul afala tattaqoona | قل من يرزقكم من السماء والأرض أمن يملك السمع والأبصار ومن يخرج الحي من الميت ويخرج الميت من الحي ومن يدبر الأمر فسيقولون الله فقل أفلا تتقون قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ والْأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ فَسَيَقُولُونَ اللّهُ فَقُلْ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| يرزقكم - provides for you| من - from| السماء - the sky| والأرض - and the earth?| أمن - Or who| يملك - controls| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight?| ومن - And who| يخرج - brings out| الحي - the living| من - from| الميت - the dead,| ويخرج - and brings forth| الميت - the dead| من - from| الحي - the living?| ومن - And who| يدبر - disposes| الأمر - the affairs?"| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| الله - "Allah."| فقل - Then say,| أفلا - "Then will not| تتقون - you fear (Him)?"| | ||||||
| 9 [16:52] | Walahu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi walahu alddeenu wasibanafaghayra Allahi tattaqoona | وله ما في السماوات والأرض وله الدين واصبا أفغير الله تتقون وَلَهُ مَا فِي الْسَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا أَفَغَيْرَ اللّهِ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وله - And to Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وله - and to Him| الدين - (is due) the worship| واصبا - constantly.| أفغير - Then is it other (than)| الله - Allah| تتقون - you fear?| | ||||||
| 10 [23:23] | Walaqad arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi faqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona | ولقد أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه فقال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| أرسلنا - We sent| نوحا - Nuh| إلى - to| قومه - his people,| فقال - and he said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah;| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - (is) any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| أفلا - Then will not| تتقون - you fear?"| | ||||||
| 11 [23:32] | Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum anioAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhuafala tattaqoona | فأرسلنا فيهم رسولا منهم أن اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأرسلنا - And We sent| فيهم - among them| رسولا - a Messenger| منهم - from themselves| أن - [that]| اعبدوا - "Worship| الله - Allah;| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - (is) any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| أفلا - Then will not| تتقون - you fear?"| | ||||||
| 12 [23:87] | Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afalatattaqoona | سيقولون لله قل أفلا تتقون سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ | |||||

| 13 [26:106] | Ith qala lahum akhoohum noohunala tattaqoona | إذ قال لهم أخوهم نوح ألا تتقون إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
