| 1 [2:73] | Faqulna idriboohu bibaAAdihakathalika yuhyee Allahu almawtawayureekum ayatihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona |  فقلنا اضربوه ببعضها كذلك يحيي الله الموتى ويريكم آياته لعلكم تعقلونفَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِ اللّهُ الْمَوْتَى وَيُرِيْكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فقلنا - So We said,| اضربوه - "Strike him| ببعضها - with a part of it."| كذلك - Like this| يحيي - revives| الله - Allah| الموتى - the dead,| ويريكم - and shows you| آياته - His Signs,| لعلكم - perhaps you may| تعقلون - use your intellect.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:260] | Wa-ith qala ibraheemurabbi arinee kayfa tuhyee almawta qala awalam tu/min qala bala walakin liyatma-innaqalbee qala fakhuth arbaAAatan mina alttayrifasurhunna ilayka thumma ijAAal AAala kulli jabalinminhunna juz-an thumma odAAuhunna ya/teenaka saAAyan waiAAlamanna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun | وإذ قال إبراهيم رب أرني كيف تحيي الموتى قال أولم تؤمن قال بلى ولكن ليطمئن قلبي قال فخذ أربعة من الطير فصرهن إليك ثم اجعل على كل جبل منهن جزءا ثم ادعهن يأتينك سعيا واعلم أن الله عزيز حكيم وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قَالَ بَلَى وَلَـكِن لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي قَالَ فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنَ الطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَلَى كُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًا ثُمَّ ادْعُهُنَّ يَأْتِينَكَ سَعْيًا وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| رب - "My Lord| أرني - show me| كيف - how| تحيي - You give life| الموتى - (to) the dead."| قال - He said,| أولم - "Have not| تؤمن - you believed?"| قال - He said,| بلى - "Yes| ولكن - [and] but| ليطمئن - to satisfy| قلبي - my heart."| قال - He said| فخذ - "Then take| أربعة - four| من - of| الطير - the birds| فصرهن - and incline them| إليك - towards you,| ثم - then| اجعل - put| على - on| كل - each| جبل - hill| منهن - of them| جزءا - a portion;| ثم - then| ادعهن - call them,| يأتينك - they will come to you| سعيا - (in) haste.| واعلم - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:49] | Warasoolan ila banee isra-eelaannee qad ji/tukum bi-ayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqulakum mina altteeni kahay-ati alttayrifaanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran bi-ithni Allahiwaobri-o al-akmaha waal-abrasa waohyeealmawta bi-ithni Allahi waonabbi-okum bimata/kuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalikalaayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | ورسولا إلى بني إسرائيل أني قد جئتكم بآية من ربكم أني أخلق لكم من الطين كهيئة الطير فأنفخ فيه فيكون طيرا بإذن الله وأبرئ الأكمه والأبرص وأحيي الموتى بإذن الله وأنبئكم بما تأكلون وما تدخرون في بيوتكم إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَرَسُولاً إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَأُبْرِىءُ الْأَكْمَهَ والْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ورسولا - And (make him) a Messenger| إلى - to| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel,| أني - "Indeed, I| قد - [surely]| جئتكم - [I] (have) come (to) you| بآية - with a sign| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| أني - that I| أخلق - [I] design| لكم - for you| من - from| الطين - [the] clay| كهيئة - like the form| الطير - (of) the bird,| فأنفخ - then I breath| فيه - into it| فيكون - and it becomes| طيرا - a bird| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| وأبرئ - And I cure| الأكمه - the blind,| والأبرص - and the leper,| وأحيي - and I give life| الموتى - (to) the dead| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| وأنبئكم - And I inform you| بما - of what| تأكلون - you eat| وما - and what| تدخرون - you store| في - in| بيوتكم - your houses.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a sign| لكم - for you,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:110] | Ith qala Allahu yaAAeesa ibna maryama othkur niAAmatee AAalaykawaAAala walidatika ith ayyadtuka biroohialqudusi tukallimu alnnasa fee almahdi wakahlanwa-ith AAallamtuka alkitaba waalhikmatawaalttawrata waal-injeela wa-ithtakhluqu mina altteeni kahay-ati alttayribi-ithnee fatanfukhu feeha fatakoonu tayranbi-ithnee watubri-o al-akmaha waal-abrasabi-ithnee wa-ith tukhriju almawta bi-ithneewa-ith kafaftu banee isra-eela AAanka ithji/tahum bialbayyinati faqala allatheenakafaroo minhum in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun | إذ قال الله يا عيسى ابن مريم اذكر نعمتي عليك وعلى والدتك إذ أيدتك بروح القدس تكلم الناس في المهد وكهلا وإذ علمتك الكتاب والحكمة والتوراة والإنجيل وإذ تخلق من الطين كهيئة الطير بإذني فتنفخ فيها فتكون طيرا بإذني وتبرئ الأكمه والأبرص بإذني وإذ تخرج الموتى بإذني وإذ كففت بني إسرائيل عنك إذ جئتهم بالبينات فقال الذين كفروا منهم إن هذا إلا سحر مبين إِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِىءُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - said| الله - Allah,| يا - O| عيسى - "O Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam!| اذكر - Remember| نعمتي - My Favor| عليك - upon you| وعلى - and upon| والدتك - your mother| إذ - when| أيدتك - I strengthened you| بروح - with (the) Spirit,| القدس - the Holy,| تكلم - you spoke| الناس - (to) the people| في - in| المهد - the cradle| وكهلا - and (in) maturity.| وإذ - And when| علمتك - I taught you| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| والتوراة - and the Taurat| والإنجيل - and the Injeel;| وإذ - and when| تخلق - you make| من - from| الطين - the clay| كهيئة - like the shape| الطير - (of) the bird| بإذني - by My permission| فتنفخ - then you breath| فيها - into it| فتكون - and it becomes| طيرا - a bird| بإذني - by My permission,| وتبرئ - and you heal| الأكمه - the born blind| والأبرص - and the leper| بإذني - by My permission,| وإذ - and when| تخرج - you bring forth| الموتى - the dead| بإذني - by My permission.| وإذ - And when| كففت - I restrained| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| عنك - from you| إذ - when| جئتهم - you came to them| بالبينات - with the clear proofs| فقال - then said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| منهم - among them| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| سحر - magic,| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 5 [6:111] | Walaw annana nazzalnailayhimu almala-ikata wakallamahumu almawta wahasharnaAAalayhim kulla shay-in qubulan ma kanoo liyu/minooilla an yashaa Allahu walakinnaaktharahum yajhaloona | ولو أننا نزلنا إليهم الملائكة وكلمهم الموتى وحشرنا عليهم كل شيء قبلا ما كانوا ليؤمنوا إلا أن يشاء الله ولكن أكثرهم يجهلون وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ الْمَوْتَى وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ قُبُلاً مَّا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And (even) if| أننا - [that] We (had)| نزلنا - [We] sent down| إليهم - to them| الملائكة - the Angels| وكلمهم - and spoken to them| الموتى - the dead| وحشرنا - and We gathered| عليهم - before them| كل - every| شيء - thing| قبلا - face to face,| ما - not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| إلا - unless| أن - [that]| يشاء - wills| الله - Allah.| ولكن - But| أكثرهم - most of them| يجهلون - (are) ignorant.| | ||||||
| 6 [7:57] | Wahuwa allathee yursilu alrriyahabushran bayna yaday rahmatihi hatta ithaaqallat sahaban thiqalan suqnahu libaladinmayyitin faanzalna bihi almaa faakhrajnabihi min kulli alththamarati kathalikanukhriju almawta laAAallakum tathakkaroona | وهو الذي يرسل الرياح بشرا بين يدي رحمته حتى إذا أقلت سحابا ثقالا سقناه لبلد ميت فأنزلنا به الماء فأخرجنا به من كل الثمرات كذلك نخرج الموتى لعلكم تذكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالاً سُقْنَاهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ الْمَاءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ كَذَلِكَ نُخْرِجُ الْموْتَى لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يرسل - sends| الرياح - the winds| بشرا - (as) glad tidings| بين - from| يدي - before| رحمته - His Mercy,| حتى - until,| إذا - when| أقلت - they have carried| سحابا - clouds -| ثقالا - heavy,| سقناه - We drive them| لبلد - to a land,| ميت - dead,| فأنزلنا - then We send down| به - from it| الماء - the water| فأخرجنا - then We bring forth| به - from it| من - (of)| كل - all (kinds)| الثمرات - (of) fruits.| كذلك - Thus| نخرج - We will bring forth| الموتى - the dead| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 7 [13:31] | Walaw anna qur-anan suyyirat bihialjibalu aw quttiAAat bihi al-ardu awkullima bihi almawta bal lillahi al-amru jameeAAanafalam yay-asi allatheena amanoo an law yashaoAllahu lahada alnnasa jameeAAan walayazalu allatheena kafaroo tuseebuhum bimasanaAAoo qariAAatun aw tahullu qareeban mindarihim hatta ya/tiya waAAdu Allahiinna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada | ولو أن قرآنا سيرت به الجبال أو قطعت به الأرض أو كلم به الموتى بل لله الأمر جميعا أفلم ييأس الذين آمنوا أن لو يشاء الله لهدى الناس جميعا ولا يزال الذين كفروا تصيبهم بما صنعوا قارعة أو تحل قريبا من دارهم حتى يأتي وعد الله إن الله لا يخلف الميعاد وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَى بَل لِّلّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُواْ قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that was| قرآنا - any Quran,| سيرت - could be moved| به - by it| الجبال - the mountains,| أو - or| قطعت - could be cloven asunder| به - by it| الأرض - the earth,| أو - or| كلم - could be made to speak| به - by it| الموتى - the dead.| بل - Nay,| لله - with Allah| الأمر - (is) the command| جميعا - all.| أفلم - Then do not| ييأس - know| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| أن - that| لو - if| يشاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لهدى - surely, He would have guided| الناس - all?| جميعا - all of the mankind?| ولا - And not| يزال - will cease| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| تصيبهم - to strike them| بما - for what| صنعوا - they did| قارعة - a disaster,| أو - or| تحل - it settles| قريبا - close| من - from| دارهم - their homes| حتى - until| يأتي - comes| وعد - (the) promise| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (will) not| يخلف - fail| الميعاد - (in) the Promise.| | ||||||
| 8 [22:6] | Thalika bi-anna Allaha huwa alhaqquwaannahu yuhyee almawta waannahu AAala kullishay-in qadeerun | ذلك بأن الله هو الحق وأنه يحيي الموتى وأنه على كل شيء قدير ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَأَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||

| 9 [27:80] | Innaka la tusmiAAu almawta walatusmiAAu alssumma aldduAAaa ithawallaw mudbireena | إنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنك - Indeed, you| لا - (can) not| تسمع - cause to hear| الموتى - the dead| ولا - and not| تسمع - can you cause to hear| الصم - the deaf| الدعاء - the call| إذا - when| ولوا - they turn back| مدبرين - retreating.| | ||||||
| 10 [30:50] | Faonthur ila atharirahmati Allahi kayfa yuhyee al-ardabaAAda mawtiha inna thalika lamuhyee almawtawahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | فانظر إلى آثار رحمت الله كيف يحيي الأرض بعد موتها إن ذلك لمحيي الموتى وهو على كل شيء قدير فَانظُرْ إِلَى آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |فانظر - So look| إلى - at| آثار - (the) effects| رحمت - (of the) Mercy| الله - (of) Allah,| كيف - how| يحيي - He gives life| الأرض - (to) the earth| بعد - after| موتها - its death.| إن - Indeed,| ذلك - that| لمحيي - surely He (will) give life| الموتى - (to) the dead.| وهو - And He| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 11 [30:52] | Fa-innaka la tusmiAAu almawtawala tusmiAAu alssumma aldduAAaaitha wallaw mudbireena | فإنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ | |||||

| 12 [36:12] | Inna nahnu nuhyeealmawta wanaktubu ma qaddamoo waatharahumwakulla shay-in ahsaynahu fee imamin mubeenin | إنا نحن نحيي الموتى ونكتب ما قدموا وآثارهم وكل شيء أحصيناه في إمام مبين إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| نحن - [We]| نحيي - [We] give life| الموتى - (to) the dead| ونكتب - and We record| ما - what| قدموا - they have sent before| وآثارهم - and their footprints,| وكل - and every| شيء - thing| أحصيناه - We have enumerated it| في - in| إمام - a Register| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 13 [41:39] | Wamin ayatihi annaka taraal-arda khashiAAatan fa-itha anzalnaAAalayha almaa ihtazzat warabat inna allatheeahyaha lamuhyee almawta innahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | ومن آياته أنك ترى الأرض خاشعة فإذا أنزلنا عليها الماء اهتزت وربت إن الذي أحياها لمحيي الموتى إنه على كل شيء قدير وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| أنك - (is) that you| ترى - see| الأرض - the earth| خاشعة - barren,| فإذا - but when| أنزلنا - We send down| عليها - upon it| الماء - water| اهتزت - it is stirred (to life)| وربت - and grows.| إن - Indeed,| الذي - the One Who| أحياها - gives it life,| لمحيي - (is) surely the Giver of life| الموتى - (to) the dead.| إنه - Indeed, He| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 14 [42:9] | Ami ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaafaAllahu huwa alwaliyyu wahuwa yuhyee almawtawahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | أم اتخذوا من دونه أولياء فالله هو الولي وهو يحيي الموتى وهو على كل شيء قدير أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ فَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِي المَوْتَى وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| اتخذوا - have they taken| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| أولياء - protectors?| فالله - But Allah -| هو - He| الولي - (is) the Protector,| وهو - and He| يحيي - gives life| الموتى - (to) the dead.| وهو - And He| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 15 [46:33] | Awa lam yaraw anna Allaha allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardawalam yaAAya bikhalqihinna biqadirin AAala an yuhyiyaalmawta bala innahu AAala kulli shay-inqadeerun | أولم يروا أن الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض ولم يعي بخلقهن بقادر على أن يحيي الموتى بلى إنه على كل شيء قدير أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى بَلَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
