| 1 [2:26] | Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeena |  إن الله لا يستحيي أن يضرب مثلا ما بعوضة فما فوقها فأما الذين آمنوا فيعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وأما الذين كفروا فيقولون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا يضل به كثيرا ويهدي به كثيرا وما يضل به إلا الفاسقينإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَـذَا مَثَلاً يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيراً وَّيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيراً وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not| يستحيي - ashamed| أن - to| يضرب - set forth| مثلا - an example| ما - (like) even| بعوضة - (of) a mosquito| فما - and (even) something| فوقها - above it.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed,| فيعلمون - [thus] they will know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| فيقولون - [thus] they will say| ماذا - what| أراد - (did) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| كثيرا - many| ويهدي - and He guides| به - by it| كثيرا - many.| وما - And not| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| إلا - except| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:25] | Qala rabbi innee la amliku illanafsee waakhee faofruq baynana wabayna alqawmi alfasiqeena | قال رب إني لا أملك إلا نفسي وأخي فافرق بيننا وبين القوم الفاسقين قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لاَ أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said| رب - "O my Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| لا - (do) not| أملك - (have) power| إلا - except| نفسي - (over) myself| وأخي - and my brother,| فافرق - so (make a) separation| بيننا - between us| وبين - and between| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - (the) defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 3 [5:26] | Qala fa-innaha muharramatunAAalayhim arbaAAeena sanatan yateehoona fee al-ardi falata/sa AAala alqawmi alfasiqeena | قال فإنها محرمة عليهم أربعين سنة يتيهون في الأرض فلا تأس على القوم الفاسقين قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً يَتِيهُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - (Allah) said,| فإنها - "Then indeed it| محرمة - (will be) forbidden| عليهم - to them| أربعين - (for) forty| سنة - years,| يتيهون - they will wander| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| فلا - So (do) not| تأس - grieve| على - over| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 4 [5:108] | Thalika adna an ya/too bialshshahadatiAAala wajhiha aw yakhafoo an turadda aymanunbaAAda aymanihim waittaqoo Allaha waismaAAoowaAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | ذلك أدنى أن يأتوا بالشهادة على وجهها أو يخافوا أن ترد أيمان بعد أيمانهم واتقوا الله واسمعوا والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يَأْتُواْ بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُواْ أَن تُرَدَّ أَيْمَانٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللّهَ وَاسْمَعُواْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| أدنى - (is) closer| أن - that| يأتوا - they will give| بالشهادة - the testimony| على - in| وجهها - its (true) form| أو - or| يخافوا - they would fear| أن - that| ترد - will be refuted| أيمان - their oaths| بعد - after| أيمانهم - their (others) oaths.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واسمعوا - and listen;| والله - and Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people.| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:145] | Wakatabna lahu fee al-alwahimin kulli shay-in mawAAithatan watafseelanlikulli shay-in fakhuthha biquwwatin wa/mur qawmakaya/khuthoo bi-ahsaniha saoreekum daraalfasiqeena | وكتبنا له في الألواح من كل شيء موعظة وتفصيلا لكل شيء فخذها بقوة وأمر قومك يأخذوا بأحسنها سأريكم دار الفاسقين وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُ فِي الْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلاً لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُواْ بِأَحْسَنِهَا سَأُوْرِيكُمْ دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكتبنا - And We ordained (laws)| له - for him| في - in| الألواح - the tablets -| من - of| كل - every| شيء - thing,| موعظة - an instruction| وتفصيلا - and explanation| لكل - for every| شيء - thing,| فخذها - "So take them| بقوة - with firmness| وأمر - and order| قومك - your people| يأخذوا - (to) take| بأحسنها - (the) best of it.| سأريكم - I will show you| دار - (the) home| الفاسقين - (of) the defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 6 [9:24] | Qul in kana abaokumwaabnaokum wa-ikhwanukum waazwajukumwaAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratuntakhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnahaahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadinfee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya/tiya Allahubi-amrihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | قل إن كان آباؤكم وأبناؤكم وإخوانكم وأزواجكم وعشيرتكم وأموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها أحب إليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين قُلْ إِن كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَالٌ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَجِهَادٍ فِي سَبِيلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "If| كان - are| آباؤكم - your fathers,| وأبناؤكم - and your sons,| وإخوانكم - and your brothers,| وأزواجكم - and your spouses,| وعشيرتكم - and your relatives,| وأموال - and wealth| اقترفتموها - that you have acquired| وتجارة - and the commerce,| تخشون - you fear| كسادها - a decline (in) it| ومساكن - and the dwellings| ترضونها - you delight (in) it| أحب - (are) more beloved| إليكم - to you| من - than| الله - Allah,| ورسوله - and His Messenger| وجهاد - and striving| في - in| سبيله - His way,| فتربصوا - then wait| حتى - until| يأتي - Allah brings| الله - Allah brings| بأمره - His Command.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people -| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 7 [9:80] | Istaghfir lahum aw la tastaghfirlahum in tastaghfir lahum sabAAeena marratan falan yaghfira Allahulahum thalika bi-annahum kafaroo biAllahiwarasoolihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | استغفر لهم أو لا تستغفر لهم إن تستغفر لهم سبعين مرة فلن يغفر الله لهم ذلك بأنهم كفروا بالله ورسوله والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لاَ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ اللّهُ لَهُمْ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |استغفر - Ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| أو - or| لا - (do) not| تستغفر - ask forgiveness| لهم - for them.| إن - If| تستغفر - you ask forgiveness| لهم - for them| سبعين - seventy| مرة - times,| فلن - never| يغفر - will Allah forgive| الله - will Allah forgive| لهم - [for] them.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| كفروا - disbelieved| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| والله - and Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:96] | Yahlifoona lakum litardawAAanhum fa-in tardaw AAanhum fa-inna Allaha layarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena | يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم فإن ترضوا عنهم فإن الله لا يرضى عن القوم الفاسقين يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْاْ عَنْهُمْ فَإِن تَرْضَوْاْ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَرْضَى عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| لكم - to you| لترضوا - that you may be pleased| عنهم - with them.| فإن - But if| ترضوا - you are pleased| عنهم - with them,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not pleased| يرضى - (is) not pleased| عن - with| القوم - the people| الفاسقين - (who are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 9 [59:5] | Ma qataAAtum min leenatin awtaraktumooha qa-imatan AAala osoolihafabi-ithni Allahi waliyukhziya alfasiqeena | ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبإذن الله وليخزي الفاسقين مَا قَطَعْتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Whatever| قطعتم - you cut down| من - of| لينة - (the) palm-trees| أو - or| تركتموها - you left them| قائمة - standing| على - on| أصولها - their roots,| فبإذن - it (was) by the permission| الله - (of) Allah,| وليخزي - and that He may disgrace| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 10 [61:5] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | وإذ قال موسى لقومه يا قوم لم تؤذونني وقد تعلمون أني رسول الله إليكم فلما زاغوا أزاغ الله قلوبهم والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| موسى - Musa| لقومه - to his people,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| لم - Why| تؤذونني - do you hurt me| وقد - while certainly| تعلمون - you know| أني - that I am| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| إليكم - to you?"| فلما - Then when| زاغوا - they deviated,| أزاغ - (was caused to) deviate| الله - (by) Allah| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 11 [63:6] | Sawaon AAalayhim astaghfarta lahum amlam tastaghfir lahum lan yaghfira Allahu lahum inna Allahala yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena | سواء عليهم أستغفرت لهم أم لم تستغفر لهم لن يغفر الله لهم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
