| 1 [2:208] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooodkhuloo fee alssilmi kaffatan walatattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniinnahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا ادخلوا في السلم كافة ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبينيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| ادخلوا - Enter| في - in| السلم - Islam| كافة - completely,| ولا - and (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan.| إنه - Indeed, he| لكم - (is) for you| عدو - an enemy| مبين - open.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:90] | Illa allatheena yasiloonaila qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun aw jaookumhasirat sudooruhum an yuqatilookum awyuqatiloo qawmahum walaw shaa Allahu lasallatahumAAalaykum falaqatalookum fa-ini iAAtazalookum falam yuqatilookumwaalqaw ilaykumu alssalama fama jaAAala Allahulakum AAalayhim sabeelan | إلا الذين يصلون إلى قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق أو جاءوكم حصرت صدورهم أن يقاتلوكم أو يقاتلوا قومهم ولو شاء الله لسلطهم عليكم فلقاتلوكم فإن اعتزلوكم فلم يقاتلوكم وألقوا إليكم السلم فما جعل الله لكم عليهم سبيلا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَآؤُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| يصلون - join| إلى - [to]| قوم - a group| بينكم - between you| وبينهم - and between them| ميثاق - (is) a treaty| أو - or| جاءوكم - those who come to you| حصرت - restraining| صدورهم - their hearts| أن - that| يقاتلوكم - they fight you| أو - or| يقاتلوا - they fight| قومهم - their people.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah,| لسلطهم - surely He (would have) given them power| عليكم - over you,| فلقاتلوكم - and surely they (would have) fought you.| فإن - So if| اعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| فلم - and (do) not| يقاتلوكم - fight against you| وألقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| فما - then not| جعل - (has) made| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:91] | Satajidoona akhareena yureedoona anya/manookum waya/manoo qawmahum kulla ma ruddoo ilaalfitnati orkisoo feeha fa-in lam yaAAtazilookum wayulqooilaykumu alssalama wayakuffoo aydiyahum fakhuthoohumwaoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waola-ikumjaAAalna lakum AAalayhim sultanan mubeenan | ستجدون آخرين يريدون أن يأمنوكم ويأمنوا قومهم كل ما ردوا إلى الفتنة أركسوا فيها فإن لم يعتزلوكم ويلقوا إليكم السلم ويكفوا أيديهم فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث ثقفتموهم وأولئكم جعلنا لكم عليهم سلطانا مبينا سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوَاْ إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُواْ فِيهَا فَإِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُواْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ستجدون - You will find| آخرين - others| يريدون - wishing| أن - that| يأمنوكم - they be secure from you| ويأمنوا - and they be secure from| قومهم - their people,| كل - Everytime| ما - that| ردوا - they are returned| إلى - to| الفتنة - the temptation,| أركسوا - they are plunged| فيها - into it.| فإن - So if| لم - not| يعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| ويلقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| ويكفوا - and they restrain| أيديهم - their hands,| فخذوهم - then seize them| واقتلوهم - and kill them| حيث - wherever| ثقفتموهم - you find them.| وأولئكم - And those -| جعلنا - We made| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سلطانا - an authority| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 4 [16:28] | Allatheena tatawaffahumu almala-ikatuthalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalamama kunna naAAmalu min soo-in bala inna AllahaAAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona | الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم فألقوا السلم ما كنا نعمل من سوء بلى إن الله عليم بما كنتم تعملون الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ فَأَلْقَوُاْ السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوءٍ بَلَى إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those whom -| تتوفاهم - take them in death| الملائكة - the Angels| ظالمي - (while) wronging| أنفسهم - themselves,| فألقوا - then they would offer| السلم - the submission,| ما - "Not| كنا - we were| نعمل - doing| من - any| سوء - evil."| بلى - Nay,| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| كنتم - you used (to)| تعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:87] | Waalqaw ila Allahi yawma-ithinalssalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona | وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَى اللّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وألقوا - And they (will) offer| إلى - to| الله - Allah| يومئذ - (on) that Day| السلم - the submission,| وضل - and (is) lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 6 [47:35] | Fala tahinoo watadAAoo ila alssalmiwaantumu al-aAAlawna waAllahu maAAakum walanyatirakum aAAmalakum | فلا تهنوا وتدعوا إلى السلم وأنتم الأعلون والله معكم ولن يتركم أعمالكم فَلَا تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوا إِلَى السَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَاللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فلا - So (do) not| تهنوا - weaken| وتدعوا - and call| إلى - for| السلم - peace| وأنتم - while you| الأعلون - (are) superior,| والله - and Allah| معكم - (is) with you| ولن - and never| يتركم - will deprive you| أعمالكم - (of) your deeds.| | ||||||
