| 1 [2:85] | Thumma antum haola-itaqtuloona anfusakum watukhrijoona fareeqan minkum min diyarihimtathaharoona AAalayhim bial-ithmi waalAAudwaniwa-in ya/tookum osara tufadoohum wahuwa muharramunAAalaykum ikhrajuhum afatu/minoona bibaAAdi alkitabiwatakfuroona bibaAAdin fama jazao manyafAAalu thalika minkum illa khizyun fee alhayatialddunya wayawma alqiyamati yuraddoona ilaashaddi alAAathabi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloona |  ثم أنتم هؤلاء تقتلون أنفسكم وتخرجون فريقا منكم من ديارهم تظاهرون عليهم بالإثم والعدوان وإن يأتوكم أسارى تفادوهم وهو محرم عليكم إخراجهم أفتؤمنون ببعض الكتاب وتكفرون ببعض فما جزاء من يفعل ذلك منكم إلا خزي في الحياة الدنيا ويوم القيامة يردون إلى أشد العذاب وما الله بغافل عما تعملونثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَـؤُلَاءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقاً مِّنْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِهِمْ تَظَاهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَإِنْ يَّأْتُوكُمْ أُسَارَى تُفَادُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ يَّفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلاَّ خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| أنتم - you| هؤلاء - (are) those| تقتلون - (who) kill| أنفسكم - yourselves| وتخرجون - and evict| فريقا - a party| منكم - of you| من - from| ديارهم - their homes,| تظاهرون - you support one another| عليهم - against them| بالإثم - in sin| والعدوان - and [the] transgression.| وإن - And if| يأتوكم - they come to you| أسارى - (as) captives,| تفادوهم - you ransom them,| وهو - while it| محرم - (was) forbidden| عليكم - to you| إخراجهم - their eviction.| أفتؤمنون - So do you believe| ببعض - in part (of)| الكتاب - the Book| وتكفرون - and disbelieve| ببعض - in part?| فما - Then what| جزاء - (should be the) recompense| من - (for the one) who| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| منكم - among you,| إلا - except| خزي - disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world;| ويوم - and (on the) Day| القيامة - of [the] Resurrection| يردون - they will be sent back| إلى - to| أشد - (the) most severe| العذاب - punishment?| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:86] | Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalhayata alddunya bial-akhiratifala yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala humyunsaroona | أولئك الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة فلا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينصرون أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| اشتروا - bought| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| بالآخرة - for the Hereafter;| فلا - so not| يخفف - will be lightened| عنهم - for them| العذاب - the punishment| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينصرون - will be helped.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:114] | Waman athlamu mimman manaAAamasajida Allahi an yuthkara feehaismuhu wasaAAa fee kharabiha ola-ikama kana lahum an yadkhulooha illa kha-ifeenalahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee al-akhiratiAAathabun AAatheemun | ومن أظلم ممن منع مساجد الله أن يذكر فيها اسمه وسعى في خرابها أولئك ما كان لهم أن يدخلوها إلا خائفين لهم في الدنيا خزي ولهم في الآخرة عذاب عظيم وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| منع - prevents| مساجد - (the) masajid| الله - (of) Allah| أن - to| يذكر - be mentioned| فيها - in them| اسمه - His name,| وسعى - and strives| في - for| خرابها - their destruction?| أولئك - Those!| ما - Not| كان - it is| لهم - for them| أن - that| يدخلوها - they enter them| إلا - except| خائفين - (like) those in fear.| لهم - For them| في - in| الدنيا - the world| خزي - (is) disgrace| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:130] | Waman yarghabu AAan millati ibraheemailla man safiha nafsahu walaqadi istafaynahufee alddunya wa-innahu fee al-akhiratilamina alssaliheena | ومن يرغب عن ملة إبراهيم إلا من سفه نفسه ولقد اصطفيناه في الدنيا وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلاَّ مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| يرغب - will turn away| عن - from| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| إلا - except| من - who| سفه - fooled| نفسه - himself?| ولقد - And indeed| اصطفيناه - We chose him| في - in| الدنيا - the world,| وإنه - and indeed he,| في - in,| الآخرة - the Hereafter| لمن - surely (will be) among| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:200] | Fa-itha qadaytum manasikakumfaothkuroo Allaha kathikrikum abaakumaw ashadda thikran famina alnnasi manyaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunyawama lahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin | فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاق فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيتم - you complete[d]| مناسككم - your acts of worship| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| كذكركم - as you remember| آباءكم - your forefathers| أو - or| أشد - (with) greater| ذكرا - remembrance.| فمن - And from| الناس - the people| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world."| وما - And not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - [of]| خلاق - any share.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:201] | Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atinafee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari | ومنهم من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And from those| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| حسنة - good,| وقنا - and save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire."| | ||||||
| 7 [2:204] | Wamina alnnasi man yuAAjibukaqawluhu fee alhayati alddunyawayushhidu Allaha AAala ma fee qalbihiwahuwa aladdu alkhisami | ومن الناس من يعجبك قوله في الحياة الدنيا ويشهد الله على ما في قلبه وهو ألد الخصام وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا فِي قَلْبِهِ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الناس - the people| من - (is the one) who| يعجبك - pleases you| قوله - (with) his speech| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ويشهد - and he calls to witness| الله - Allah| على - on| ما - what| في - (is) in| قلبه - his heart,| وهو - and he| ألد - (is) the most quarrelsome| الخصام - (of) opponents.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:212] | Zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo alhayatualddunya wayaskharoona mina allatheena amanoowaallatheena ittaqaw fawqahum yawma alqiyamatiwaAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin | زين للذين كفروا الحياة الدنيا ويسخرون من الذين آمنوا والذين اتقوا فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاللّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |زين - Beautified| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ويسخرون - and they ridicule| من - [of]| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| والذين - And those who| اتقوا - fear (Allah),| فوقهم - (they will be) above them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| والله - And Allah| يرزق - provides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| بغير - without| حساب - measure.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:217] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alshshahri alharamiqitalin feehi qul qitalun feehi kabeerun wasaddunAAan sabeeli Allahi wakufrun bihi waalmasjidi alharamiwa-ikhraju ahlihi minhu akbaru AAinda Allahi waalfitnatuakbaru mina alqatli wala yazaloona yuqatiloonakumhatta yaruddookum AAan deenikum ini istataAAoowaman yartadid minkum AAan deenihi fayamut wahuwa kafirunfaola-ika habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunyawaal-akhirati waola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير وصد عن سبيل الله وكفر به والمسجد الحرام وإخراج أهله منه أكبر عند الله والفتنة أكبر من القتل ولا يزالون يقاتلونكم حتى يردوكم عن دينكم إن استطاعوا ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الشهر - the month| الحرام - [the] sacred -| قتال - (concerning) fighting| فيه - in it.| قل - Say,| قتال - "Fighting| فيه - therein| كبير - (is) a great (sin);| وصد - but hindering (people)| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وكفر - and disbelief| به - in Him| والمسجد - and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam,| وإخراج - and driving out| أهله - its people| منه - from it,| أكبر - (is) greater (sin)| عند - near| الله - Allah.| والفتنة - And [the] oppression| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| القتل - [the] killing."| ولا - And not| يزالون - they will cease| يقاتلونكم - (to) fight with you| حتى - until| يردوكم - they turn you away| عن - from| دينكم - your religion,| إن - if| استطاعوا - they are able.| ومن - And whoever| يرتدد - turns away| منكم - among you| عن - from| دينه - his religion,| فيمت - then dies| وهو - while he| كافر - (is) a disbeliever| فأولئك - for those| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those| أصحاب - (are) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 10 [2:220] | Fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwayas-aloonaka AAani alyatama qul islahunlahum khayrun wa-in tukhalitoohum fa-ikhwanukumwaAllahu yaAAlamu almufsida mina almuslihiwalaw shaa Allahu laaAAnatakum inna AllahaAAazeezun hakeemun | في الدنيا والآخرة ويسألونك عن اليتامى قل إصلاح لهم خير وإن تخالطوهم فإخوانكم والله يعلم المفسد من المصلح ولو شاء الله لأعنتكم إن الله عزيز حكيم فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَامَى قُلْ إِصْلاَحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ وَإِنْ تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |في - Concerning| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ويسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| اليتامى - the orphans.| قل - Say,| إصلاح - "Setting right (their affairs)| لهم - for them| خير - (is) best.| وإن - And if| تخالطوهم - you associate with them| فإخوانكم - then they (are) your brothers.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| المفسد - the corrupter| من - from| المصلح - the amender.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| لأعنتكم - surely He (could have) put you in difficulties.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 11 [3:14] | Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbualshshahawati mina alnnisa-i waalbaneenawaalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabiwaalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waal-anAAamiwaalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayatialddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnualmaabi | زين للناس حب الشهوات من النساء والبنين والقناطير المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة والأنعام والحرث ذلك متاع الحياة الدنيا والله عنده حسن المآب زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ | |||||
| Words | |زين - Beautified| للناس - for mankind| حب - (is) love| الشهوات - (of) the (things they) desire -| من - of| النساء - [the] women| والبنين - and [the] sons| والقناطير - and [the] heaps| المقنطرة - [the] stored up| من - of| الذهب - [the] gold| والفضة - and [the] silver,| والخيل - and [the] horses| المسومة - [the] branded,| والأنعام - and [the] cattle| والحرث - and [the] tilled land.| ذلك - That| متاع - (is) provision| الحياة - (of) life| الدنيا - (of) the world| والله - but Allah -| عنده - with Him| حسن - (is an) excellent| المآب - [the] abode to return.| | ||||||
| 12 [3:22] | Ola-ika allatheena habitataAAmaluhum fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum min nasireena | أولئك الذين حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم من ناصرين أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who -| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - (will be) for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 13 [3:45] | Ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatinminhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehanfee alddunya waal-akhirati waminaalmuqarrabeena | إذ قالت الملائكة يا مريم إن الله يبشرك بكلمة منه اسمه المسيح عيسى ابن مريم وجيها في الدنيا والآخرة ومن المقربين إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلآئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قالت - said| الملائكة - the Angels,| يا - O| مريم - "O Maryam!| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يبشرك - gives you glad tidings| بكلمة - of a word| منه - from Him,| اسمه - his name| المسيح - (is) the Messiah,| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| وجيها - honored| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter,| ومن - and of| المقربين - those brought near (to Allah).| | ||||||
| 14 [3:56] | Faamma allatheena kafaroofaoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee alddunyawaal-akhirati wama lahum min nasireena | فأما الذين كفروا فأعذبهم عذابا شديدا في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم من ناصرين فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||

| 15 [3:117] | Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihialhayati alddunya kamathali reehinfeeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamooanfusahum faahlakat-hu wama thalamahumu Allahuwalakin anfusahum yathlimoona | مثل ما ينفقون في هذه الحياة الدنيا كمثل ريح فيها صر أصابت حرث قوم ظلموا أنفسهم فأهلكته وما ظلمهم الله ولكن أنفسهم يظلمون مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||

| 16 [3:145] | Wama kana linafsin an tamootailla bi-ithni Allahi kitabanmu-ajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunyanu/tihi minha waman yurid thawaba al-akhiratinu/tihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena | وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد ثواب الدنيا نؤته منها ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها وسنجزي الشاكرين وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||

| 17 [3:148] | Faatahumu Allahu thawabaalddunya wahusna thawabi al-akhiratiwaAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena | فآتاهم الله ثواب الدنيا وحسن ثواب الآخرة والله يحب المحسنين فَآتَاهُمُ اللّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْآخِرَةِ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فآتاهم - So gave them| الله - Allah| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (in) the world| وحسن - and good| ثواب - reward| الآخرة - (in) the Hereafter.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 18 [3:152] | Walaqad sadaqakumu AllahuwaAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hattaitha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytummin baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboonaminkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedual-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakumwalaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoofadlin AAala almu/mineena | ولقد صدقكم الله وعده إذ تحسونهم بإذنه حتى إذا فشلتم وتنازعتم في الأمر وعصيتم من بعد ما أراكم ما تحبون منكم من يريد الدنيا ومنكم من يريد الآخرة ثم صرفكم عنهم ليبتليكم ولقد عفا عنكم والله ذو فضل على المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| صدقكم - fulfilled to you| الله - Allah| وعده - His promise,| إذ - when| تحسونهم - you were killing them| بإذنه - by His permission,| حتى - until| إذا - when| فشلتم - you lost courage| وتنازعتم - and you fell into dispute| في - concerning| الأمر - the order| وعصيتم - and you disobeyed| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| أراكم - He (had) shown you| ما - what| تحبون - you love.| منكم - Among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الدنيا - the world| ومنكم - and among you| من - (are some) who| يريد - desire| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| ثم - Then| صرفكم - He diverted you| عنهم - from them| ليبتليكم - so that He may test you.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - He forgave| عنكم - you.| والله - And Allah| ذو - (is the) Possessor| فضل - (of) Bounty| على - for| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 19 [3:185] | Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawtiwa-innama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamatifaman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhilaaljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunyailla mataAAu alghuroori | كل نفس ذائقة الموت وإنما توفون أجوركم يوم القيامة فمن زحزح عن النار وأدخل الجنة فقد فاز وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَما الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ | |||||

| 20 [4:74] | Falyuqatil fee sabeeli Allahiallatheena yashroona alhayata alddunyabial-akhirati waman yuqatil fee sabeeli Allahifayuqtal aw yaghlib fasawfa nu/teehi ajran AAatheeman | فليقاتل في سبيل الله الذين يشرون الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة ومن يقاتل في سبيل الله فيقتل أو يغلب فسوف نؤتيه أجرا عظيما فَلْيُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ يَشْرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ وَمَن يُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَيُقْتَلْ أَو يَغْلِبْ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
