| 1 [2:182] | Faman khafa min moosinjanafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum falaithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |  فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيمفَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - But whoever| خاف - fears| من - from| موص - (the) testator| جنفا - (any) error| أو - or| إثما - sin,| فأصلح - then reconciles| بينهم - between them,| فلا - then (there is) no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - All-Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:178] | Wala yahsabanna allatheenakafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun li-anfusihim innamanumlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabunmuheenun | ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا أنما نملي لهم خير لأنفسهم إنما نملي لهم ليزدادوا إثما ولهم عذاب مهين وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُواْ إِثْمًا وَلَهْمُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (let) not| يحسبن - think| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| أنما - that| نملي - We give respite| لهم - to them| خير - (is) good| لأنفسهم - for themselves.| إنما - Only| نملي - We give respite| لهم - to them| ليزدادوا - so that they may increase| إثما - (in) sins,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:48] | Inna Allaha la yaghfiru anyushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika limanyashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqadi iftaraithman AAatheeman | إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء ومن يشرك بالله فقد افترى إثما عظيما إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَى إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يغفر - forgive| أن - that| يشرك - partners be associated| به - with Him,| ويغفر - but He forgives| ما - from| دون - other than| ذلك - that| لمن - for whom| يشاء - He wills.| ومن - And whoever| يشرك - associates partners| بالله - with Allah,| فقد - then surely| افترى - he has fabricated| إثما - a sin -| عظيما - tremendous.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:50] | Onthur kayfa yaftaroona AAalaAllahi alkathiba wakafa bihi ithman mubeenan | انظر كيف يفترون على الله الكذب وكفى به إثما مبينا انظُرْ كَيفَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الكَذِبَ وَكَفَى بِهِ إِثْمًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |انظر - See| كيف - how| يفترون - they invent| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - [the] lie,| وكفى - and sufficient| به - is it -| إثما - (as) a sin| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:111] | Waman yaksib ithman fa-innamayaksibuhu AAala nafsihi wakana AllahuAAaleeman hakeeman | ومن يكسب إثما فإنما يكسبه على نفسه وكان الله عليما حكيما وَمَن يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَإِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يكسب - earns| إثما - sin,| فإنما - then only| يكسبه - he earns it| على - against| نفسه - his soul.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:112] | Waman yaksib khatee-atan aw ithmanthumma yarmi bihi baree-an faqadi ihtamala buhtananwa-ithman mubeenan | ومن يكسب خطيئة أو إثما ثم يرم به بريئا فقد احتمل بهتانا وإثما مبينا وَمَن يَكْسِبْ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهِ بَرِيئًا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يكسب - earns| خطيئة - a fault| أو - or| إثما - a sin| ثم - then| يرم - throws| به - it| بريئا - (on) an innocent,| فقد - then surely| احتمل - he (has) burdened (himself)| بهتانا - (with) a slander| وإثما - and a sin| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 7 [5:107] | Fa-in AAuthira AAala annahumaistahaqqa ithman faakharani yaqoomanimaqamahuma mina allatheena istahaqqaAAalayhimu al-awlayani fayuqsimani biAllahilashahadatuna ahaqqu min shahadatihimawama iAAtadayna inna ithan lamina alththalimeena | فإن عثر على أنهما استحقا إثما فآخران يقومان مقامهما من الذين استحق عليهم الأوليان فيقسمان بالله لشهادتنا أحق من شهادتهما وما اعتدينا إنا إذا لمن الظالمين فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْمًا فَآخَرَانِ يِقُومَانُ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| عثر - it is discovered| على - (on)| أنهما - that the two| استحقا - (were) guilty| إثما - (of) sin,| فآخران - then (let) two others| يقومان - stand| مقامهما - (in) their place| من - from| الذين - those who| استحق - have a lawful right| عليهم - over them -| الأوليان - the former two -| فيقسمان - and let them both swear| بالله - by Allah| لشهادتنا - "Surely our testimony| أحق - (is) truer| من - than| شهادتهما - testimony of the other two| وما - and not| اعتدينا - we have transgressed.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لمن - (will be) of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
