| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:112] | Waman yaksib khatee-atan aw ithmanthumma yarmi bihi baree-an faqadi ihtamala buhtananwa-ithman mubeenan
|  ومن يكسب خطيئة أو إثما ثم يرم به بريئا فقد احتمل بهتانا وإثما مبينا
وَمَن يَكْسِبْ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهِ بَرِيئًا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يكسب - earns| خطيئة - a fault| أو - or| إثما - a sin| ثم - then| يرم - throws| به - it| بريئا - (on) an innocent,| فقد - then surely| احتمل - he (has) burdened (himself)| بهتانا - (with) a slander| وإثما - and a sin| مبينا - manifest.| |

| ኀጢአትን ወይም አበሳን የሚሠራም ሰው ከዚያም በእርሱ ንጹሕን ሰው የሚሰድብ ቅጥፈትንና ግልጽ አበሳን በቁርጥ ተሸከመ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يكسب خطيئة } ذنبا صغيرا { أو إثما } ذنبا كبيرا { ثم يرم به بريئا } منه { فقد احتمل } تحمل { بهتانا } برميه { وإثما مبينا } بينا بكسبه . |
| Win ifalîan ne$ ibbwin abekkav, irra p id $ef wur nexdim, ibbwi lâaô, akked ubekkav n ûûeê. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে ব্যক্তি ভূল কিংবা গোনাহ করে, অতঃপর কোন নিরপরাধের উপর অপবাদ আরোপ করে সে নিজের মাথায় বহন করে জঘন্য মিথ্যা ও প্রকাশ্য গোনাহ। |
| Literal | And who acquires/carries a sin or a sin/crime , then he blames and accuses an innocent, so he had carried wrongfully/slanderfully and an evident sin/crime . |
| Yusuf Ali | But if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, He carries (on himself) (Both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin. |
| Pickthal | And whoso committeth a delinquency or crime, then throweth (the blame) thereof upon the innocent, hath burdened himself with falsehood and a flagrant crime. |
