| 1 [2:117] | BadeeAAu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wa-itha qada amran fa-innamayaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu |  بديع السماوات والأرض وإذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكونبَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْراً فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |بديع - (The) Originator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth!| وإذا - And when| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - [so] only| يقول - He says| له - to it| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:42] | Ith antum bialAAudwati alddunyawahum bialAAudwati alquswa waalrrakbuasfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum feealmeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahuamran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatinwayahya man hayya AAan bayyinatin wa-innaAllaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun | إذ أنتم بالعدوة الدنيا وهم بالعدوة القصوى والركب أسفل منكم ولو تواعدتم لاختلفتم في الميعاد ولكن ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا ليهلك من هلك عن بينة ويحيى من حي عن بينة وإن الله لسميع عليم إِذْ أَنتُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَى وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدتَّمْ لاَخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ وَلَـكِن لِّيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْراً كَانَ مَفْعُولاً لِّيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَى مَنْ حَيَّ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَإِنَّ اللّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| أنتم - you (were)| بالعدوة - on side of the valley,| الدنيا - the nearer| وهم - and they| بالعدوة - (were) on the side,| القصوى - the farther| والركب - and the caravan| أسفل - (was) lower| منكم - than you.| ولو - And if| تواعدتم - you (had) made an appointment| لاختلفتم - certainly you would have failed| في - in| الميعاد - the appointment.| ولكن - But| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - destined,| ليهلك - that (might be) destroyed| من - (those) who| هلك - (were to be) destroyed| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence| ويحيى - and (might) live| من - (those) who| حي - (were to) live| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence.| وإن - And indeed,| الله - Allah| لسميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:44] | Wa-ith yureekumoohum ithiiltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihimliyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan wa-ilaAllahi turjaAAu al-omooru | وإذ يريكموهم إذ التقيتم في أعينكم قليلا ويقللكم في أعينهم ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا وإلى الله ترجع الأمور وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلاً وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولاً وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يريكموهم - He showed them to you,| إذ - when| التقيتم - you met -| في - in| أعينكم - your eyes| قليلا - (as) few| ويقللكم - and He made you (appear) as few| في - in| أعينهم - their eyes| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah might accomplish| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - (already) destined.| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| ترجع - return| الأمور - (all) the matters.| | ||||||
| 5 [12:18] | Wajaoo AAala qameesihibidamin kathibin qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukumamran fasabrun jameelun waAllahu almustaAAanuAAala ma tasifoona | وجاءوا على قميصه بدم كذب قال بل سولت لكم أنفسكم أمرا فصبر جميل والله المستعان على ما تصفون وَجَآؤُوا عَلَى قَمِيصِهِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاءوا - And they brought| على - upon| قميصه - his shirt| بدم - with false blood.| كذب - with false blood.| قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| سولت - has enticed you| لكم - has enticed you| أنفسكم - your souls| أمرا - (to) a matter,| فصبر - so patience| جميل - (is) beautiful.| والله - And Allah| المستعان - (is) the One sought for help| على - against| ما - what| تصفون - you describe."| | ||||||
| 6 [12:83] | Qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukumamran fasabrun jameelun AAasa Allahu anya/tiyanee bihim jameeAAan innahu huwa alAAaleemu alhakeemu | قال بل سولت لكم أنفسكم أمرا فصبر جميل عسى الله أن يأتيني بهم جميعا إنه هو العليم الحكيم قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَنِي بِهِمْ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| سولت - have enticed| لكم - you| أنفسكم - your souls| أمرا - something,| فصبر - so patience| جميل - (is) beautiful.| عسى - Perhaps| الله - Allah,| أن - will bring them to me| يأتيني - will bring them to me| بهم - will bring them to me| جميعا - all.| إنه - Indeed, He| هو - He| العليم - (is) the All-Knower,| الحكيم - All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 7 [18:69] | Qala satajidunee in shaa Allahusabiran wala aAAsee laka amran | قال ستجدني إن شاء الله صابرا ولا أعصي لك أمرا قَالَ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ صَابِرًا وَلاَ أَعْصِي لَكَ أَمْرًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ستجدني - "You will find me,| إن - if| شاء - Allah wills,| الله - Allah wills,| صابرا - patient,| ولا - and not| أعصي - I will disobey| لك - your| أمرا - order."| | ||||||
| 8 [19:21] | Qala kathaliki qalarabbuki huwa AAalayya hayyinun walinajAAalahu ayatan lilnnasiwarahmatan minna wakana amran maqdiyyan | قال كذلك قال ربك هو علي هين ولنجعله آية للناس ورحمة منا وكان أمرا مقضيا قَالَ كَذَلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus;| قال - said| ربك - your Lord,| هو - 'It| علي - (is) for Me| هين - easy,| ولنجعله - and so that We will make him| آية - a sign| للناس - for the mankind| ورحمة - and a Mercy| منا - from Us.| وكان - And (it) is| أمرا - a matter| مقضيا - decreed.'"| | ||||||
| 9 [19:35] | Ma kana lillahi anyattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qadaamran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | ما كان لله أن يتخذ من ولد سبحانه إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - (it) is| لله - for Allah| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| من - any son.| ولد - any son.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be"| فيكون - and it is.| | ||||||
| 10 [27:32] | Qalat ya ayyuha almalaoaftoonee fee amree ma kuntu qatiAAatan amran hattatashhadoona | قالت يا أيها الملأ أفتوني في أمري ما كنت قاطعة أمرا حتى تشهدون قَالَتْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي أَمْرِي مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّى تَشْهَدُونِ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| يا - O| أيها - "O| الملأ - chiefs!| أفتوني - Advise me| في - in| أمري - my affair.| ما - Not| كنت - I would be| قاطعة - the one to decide| أمرا - any matter| حتى - until| تشهدون - you are present with me."| | ||||||
| 11 [33:36] | Wama kana limu/minin walamu/minatin itha qada Allahu warasooluhuamran an yakoona lahumu alkhiyaratu min amrihim waman yaAAsiAllaha warasoolahu faqad dalla dalalanmubeenan | وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - (it) is| لمؤمن - for a believing man| ولا - and not| مؤمنة - (for) a believing woman,| إذا - when| قضى - Allah has decided| الله - Allah has decided| ورسوله - and His Messenger| أمرا - a matter| أن - that| يكون - (there) should be| لهم - for them| الخيرة - (any) choice| من - about| أمرهم - their affair.| ومن - And whoever| يعص - disobeys| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| فقد - certainly,| ضل - he (has) strayed| ضلالا - (into) error| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 12 [40:68] | Huwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetufa-itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahukun fayakoonu | هو الذي يحيي ويميت فإذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death.| فإذا - And when| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it is.| | ||||||
| 13 [43:79] | Am abramoo amran fa-inna mubrimoona | أم أبرموا أمرا فإنا مبرمون أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| أبرموا - have they determined| أمرا - an affair?| فإنا - Then indeed, We| مبرمون - (are) determined.| | ||||||
| 14 [44:5] | Amran min AAindina inna kunnamursileena | أمرا من عندنا إنا كنا مرسلين أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أمرا - A command| من - from| عندنا - Us.| إنا - Indeed, We| كنا - [We] are| مرسلين - (ever) sending,| | ||||||
| 15 [51:4] | Faalmuqassimati amran | فالمقسمات أمرا فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا | |||||
| Words | |فالمقسمات - And those distributing| أمرا - Command,| | ||||||
| 16 [65:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu ithatallaqtumu alnnisaa fatalliqoohunnaliAAiddatihinna waahsoo alAAiddata waittaqoo Allaharabbakum la tukhrijoohunna min buyootihinna walayakhrujna illa an ya/teena bifahishatinmubayyinatin watilka hudoodu Allahi wamanyataAAadda hudooda Allahi faqad thalamanafsahu la tadree laAAalla Allaha yuhdithubaAAda thalika amran | يا أيها النبي إذا طلقتم النساء فطلقوهن لعدتهن وأحصوا العدة واتقوا الله ربكم لا تخرجوهن من بيوتهن ولا يخرجن إلا أن يأتين بفاحشة مبينة وتلك حدود الله ومن يتعد حدود الله فقد ظلم نفسه لا تدري لعل الله يحدث بعد ذلك أمرا يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِن بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| النبي - Prophet!| إذا - When| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women,| فطلقوهن - then divorce them| لعدتهن - for their waiting period,| وأحصوا - and keep count| العدة - (of) the waiting period,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah,| ربكم - your Lord.| لا - (Do) not| تخرجوهن - expel them| من - from| بيوتهن - their houses,| ولا - and not| يخرجن - they should leave| إلا - except| أن - that| يأتين - they commit| بفاحشة - an immorality| مبينة - clear.| وتلك - And these| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (of) Allah.| ومن - And whoever| يتعد - transgresses| حدود - (the) limits| الله - (of) Allah| فقد - then certainly| ظلم - he has wronged| نفسه - himself.| لا - Not| تدري - you know;| لعل - Perhaps| الله - Allah| يحدث - will bring about,| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| أمرا - a matter.| | ||||||
| 17 [79:5] | Faalmudabbirati amran | فالمدبرات أمرا فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا | |||||
