| 1 [7:116] | Qala alqoo falamma alqaw saharooaAAyuna alnnasi waistarhaboohum wajaoobisihrin AAatheemin |  قال ألقوا فلما ألقوا سحروا أعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءوا بسحر عظيمقَالَ أَلْقُوْاْ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْاْ سَحَرُواْ أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ألقوا - "Throw."| فلما - Then when| ألقوا - they threw,| سحروا - they bewitched| أعين - (the) eyes| الناس - (of) the people,| واسترهبوهم - and terrified them| وجاءوا - and came (up)| بسحر - with a magic| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:80] | Falamma jaa alssaharatuqala lahum moosa alqoo ma antum mulqoona | فلما جاء السحرة قال لهم موسى ألقوا ما أنتم ملقون فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى أَلْقُواْ مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| جاء - came| السحرة - the magicians,| قال - said| لهم - to them| موسى - Musa,| ألقوا - "Throw| ما - whatever| أنتم - you| ملقون - (wish to) throw."| | ||||||
| 3 [10:81] | Falamma alqaw qala moosama ji/tum bihi alssihru inna Allahasayubtiluhu inna Allaha la yuslihuAAamala almufsideena | فلما ألقوا قال موسى ما جئتم به السحر إن الله سيبطله إن الله لا يصلح عمل المفسدين فَلَمَّا أَلْقَواْ قَالَ مُوسَى مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| ألقوا - they (had) thrown,| قال - Musa said,| موسى - Musa said,| ما - "What| جئتم - you have brought| به - [it]| السحر - (is) the magic.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| سيبطله - will nullify it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يصلح - amend| عمل - the work| المفسدين - (of) the corrupters.| | ||||||
| 4 [20:66] | Qala bal alqoo fa-itha hibaluhumwaAAisiyyuhum yukhayyalu ilayhi min sihrihim annahatasAAa | قال بل ألقوا فإذا حبالهم وعصيهم يخيل إليه من سحرهم أنها تسعى قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَى | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| ألقوا - you throw."| فإذا - Then behold!| حبالهم - Their ropes| وعصيهم - and their staffs| يخيل - seemed| إليه - to him| من - by| سحرهم - their magic| أنها - that they| تسعى - (were) moving.| | ||||||
| 5 [25:13] | Wa-itha olqoo minha makanandayyiqan muqarraneena daAAaw hunalika thubooran | وإذا ألقوا منها مكانا ضيقا مقرنين دعوا هنالك ثبورا وَإِذَا أُلْقُوا مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا هُنَا لِكَ ثُبُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| ألقوا - they are thrown| منها - thereof| مكانا - (in) a place| ضيقا - narrow| مقرنين - bound in chains,| دعوا - they will call| هنالك - there| ثبورا - (for) destruction.| | ||||||
| 6 [26:43] | Qala lahum moosa alqoo maantum mulqoona | قال لهم موسى ألقوا ما أنتم ملقون قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى أَلْقُوا مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ | |||||
