| 1 [6:145] | Qul la ajidu feema oohiyailayya muharraman AAala taAAimin yatAAamuhuilla an yakoona maytatan aw daman masfoohan aw lahmakhinzeerin fa-innahu rijsun aw fisqan ohilla lighayri Allahibihi famani idturra ghayra baghin wala AAadinfa-inna rabbaka ghafoorun raheemun |  قل لا أجد في ما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنزير فإنه رجس أو فسقا أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن ربك غفور رحيمقُل لاَّ أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلاَّ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْـزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أجد - (do) I find| في - in| ما - what| أوحي - has been revealed| إلي - to me| محرما - (anything) forbidden| على - to| طاعم - an eater| يطعمه - who eats it| إلا - except| أن - that| يكون - it be| ميتة - dead| أو - or| دما - blood| مسفوحا - poured forth| أو - or| لحم - (the) flesh| خنزير - (of) swine -| فإنه - for indeed, it| رجس - (is) filth -| أو - or| فسقا - (it be) disobedience,| أهل - [is] dedicated| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah| به - [on it].| فمن - But whoever| اضطر - (is) compelled| غير - not| باغ - desiring| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressing,| فإن - then indeed,| ربك - your Lord| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:92] | Wala AAala allatheena ithama atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu maahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedumina alddamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo mayunfiqoona | ولا على الذين إذا ما أتوك لتحملهم قلت لا أجد ما أحملكم عليه تولوا وأعينهم تفيض من الدمع حزنا ألا يجدوا ما ينفقون وَلاَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ إِذَا مَا أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لاَ أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّواْ وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا أَلاَّ يَجِدُواْ مَا يُنفِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| على - on| الذين - those who,| إذا - when| ما - when| أتوك - they came to you| لتحملهم - that you provide them with mounts,| قلت - you said,| لا - "Not| أجد - I find| ما - what| أحملكم - to mount you| عليه - on [it].| تولوا - They turned back| وأعينهم - with their eyes| تفيض - flowing| من - [of]| الدمع - (with) the tears,| حزنا - (of) sorrow| ألا - that not| يجدوا - they find| ما - what| ينفقون - they (could) spend.| | ||||||
| 3 [20:10] | Ith raa naran faqalali-ahlihi omkuthoo innee anastu naran laAAallee ateekumminha biqabasin aw ajidu AAala alnnarihudan | إذ رأى نارا فقال لأهله امكثوا إني آنست نارا لعلي آتيكم منها بقبس أو أجد على النار هدى إِذْ رَأَى نَارًا فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّي آتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى النَّارِ هُدًى | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| رأى - he saw| نارا - a fire,| فقال - then he said| لأهله - to his family,| امكثوا - "Stay here;| إني - indeed, I| آنست - [I] perceived| نارا - a fire;| لعلي - perhaps I (can)| آتيكم - bring you| منها - therefrom| بقبس - a burning brand,| أو - or| أجد - I find| على - at| النار - the fire| هدى - guidance."| | ||||||
| 4 [72:22] | Qul innee lan yujeeranee mina Allahiahadun walan ajida min doonihi multahadan | قل إني لن يجيرني من الله أحد ولن أجد من دونه ملتحدا قُلْ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إني - "Indeed I,| لن - never| يجيرني - can protect me| من - from| الله - Allah| أحد - anyone,| ولن - and never| أجد - can I find| من - from| دونه - besides Him| ملتحدا - any refuge.| | ||||||
