| 1 [21:36] | Wa-itha raaka allatheenakafaroo in yattakhithoonaka illa huzuwan ahathaallathee yathkuru alihatakum wahum bithikrialrrahmani hum kafiroona |  وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم وهم بذكر الرحمن هم كافرونوَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رآك - they see you,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| إن - not| يتخذونك - they take you| إلا - except| هزوا - (in) ridicule,| أهذا - "Is this| الذي - the one who| يذكر - mentions| آلهتكم - your gods?"| وهم - And they| بذكر - at (the) mention| الرحمن - (of) the Most Gracious| هم - [they]| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:68] | Qaloo harriqoohu waonsurooalihatakum in kuntum faAAileena | قالوا حرقوه وانصروا آلهتكم إن كنتم فاعلين قَالُوا حَرِّقُوهُ وَانصُرُوا آلِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| حرقوه - "Burn him| وانصروا - and support| آلهتكم - your gods,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| فاعلين - doers."| | ||||||
| 3 [38:6] | Waintalaqa almalao minhum aniimshoo waisbiroo AAala alihatikuminna hatha lashay-on yuradu | وانطلق الملأ منهم أن امشوا واصبروا على آلهتكم إن هذا لشيء يراد وَانْطَلَقَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ امْشُوا وَاصْبِرُوا عَلَى آلِهَتِكُمْ إِنَّ هَذَا لَشَيْءٌ يُرَادُ | |||||
| Words | |وانطلق - And went forth| الملأ - the chiefs| منهم - among them| أن - that,| امشوا - "Continue,| واصبروا - and be patient| على - over| آلهتكم - your gods.| إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| لشيء - (is) certainly a thing| يراد - intended.| | ||||||
| 4 [71:23] | Waqaloo la tatharunna alihatakumwala tatharunna waddan wala suwaAAanwala yaghootha wayaAAooqa wanasran | وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق ونسرا وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لا - "(Do) not| تذرن - leave| آلهتكم - your gods,| ولا - and (do) not| تذرن - leave| ودا - Wadd| ولا - and not| سواعا - Suwa| ولا - and not| يغوث - Yaguth| ويعوق - and Yauq| ونسرا - and Nasr."| | ||||||
