| 1 [2:134] | Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha makasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAammakano yaAAmaloona |  تلك أمة قد خلت لها ما كسبت ولكم ما كسبتم ولا تسألون عما كانوا يعملونتِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ وَلاَ تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||

| 3 [2:225] | La yu-akhithukumu Allahubiallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yu-akhithukumbima kasabat quloobukum waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun | لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم ولكن يؤاخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم والله غفور حليم لاَّ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| يؤاخذكم - will take you to task| الله - Allah| باللغو - for (what is) unintentional| في - in| أيمانكم - your oaths,| ولكن - [and] but| يؤاخذكم - He takes you to task| بما - for what| كسبت - (have) earned| قلوبكم - your hearts.| والله - And Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - Most Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:281] | Waittaqoo yawman turjaAAoona feehiila Allahi thumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | واتقوا يوما ترجعون فيه إلى الله ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتقوا - And fear| يوما - a Day| ترجعون - you will be brought back| فيه - [in it]| إلى - to| الله - Allah.| ثم - Then| توفى - (will be) repaid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - not| يظلمون - will be wronged.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:286] | La yukallifu Allahu nafsanilla wusAAaha laha ma kasabatwaAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana latu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/narabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isrankama hamaltahu AAala allatheena minqablina rabbana wala tuhammilnama la taqata lana bihi waoAAfuAAanna waighfir lana wairhamnaanta mawlana faonsurna AAalaalqawmi alkafireena | لا يكلف الله نفسا إلا وسعها لها ما كسبت وعليها ما اكتسبت ربنا لا تؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا ربنا ولا تحمل علينا إصرا كما حملته على الذين من قبلنا ربنا ولا تحملنا ما لا طاقة لنا به واعف عنا واغفر لنا وارحمنا أنت مولانا فانصرنا على القوم الكافرين لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يكلف - burden| الله - Allah| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity,| لها - for it| ما - what| كسبت - it earned,| وعليها - and against it| ما - what| اكتسبت - it earned.| ربنا - "Our Lord!| لا - (Do) not| تؤاخذنا - take us to task| إن - if| نسينا - we forget| أو - or| أخطأنا - we err.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - And (do) not| تحمل - lay| علينا - upon us| إصرا - a burden| كما - like that| حملته - (which) You laid [it]| على - on| الذين - those who| من - (were) from| قبلنا - before us.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - [And] (do) not| تحملنا - lay on us| ما - what| لا - not| طاقة - (the) strength| لنا - we have| به - [of it] (to bear).| واعف - And pardon| عنا - [from] us,| واغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us| وارحمنا - and have mercy on us.| أنت - You (are)| مولانا - our Protector,| فانصرنا - so help us| على - against| القوم - the people -| الكافرين - [the] disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:25] | Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahumliyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | فكيف إذا جمعناهم ليوم لا ريب فيه ووفيت كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - Then how (will it be)| إذا - when| جمعناهم - We will gather them| ليوم - on a Day -| لا - no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| ووفيت - And will be paid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:161] | Wama kana linabiyyin anyaghulla waman yaghlul ya/ti bima ghalla yawma alqiyamatithumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum layuthlamoona | وما كان لنبي أن يغل ومن يغلل يأت بما غل يوم القيامة ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَغُلَّ وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنبي - for a Prophet| أن - that| يغل - he defrauds.| ومن - And whoever| يغلل - defrauds| يأت - will bring| بما - what| غل - he had defrauded| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| ثم - Then| توفى - is repaid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 8 [6:70] | Wathari allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum laAAiban walahwan wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya wathakkir bihi an tubsala nafsunbima kasabat laysa laha min dooni Allahiwaliyyun wala shafeeAAun wa-in taAAdil kulla AAadlin layu/khath minha ola-ika allatheenaobsiloo bima kasaboo lahum sharabun min hameeminwaAAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona | وذر الذين اتخذوا دينهم لعبا ولهوا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وذكر به أن تبسل نفس بما كسبت ليس لها من دون الله ولي ولا شفيع وإن تعدل كل عدل لا يؤخذ منها أولئك الذين أبسلوا بما كسبوا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لاَّ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وذر - And leave| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - take| دينهم - their religion| لعبا - (as) a play| ولهوا - and amusement| وغرتهم - and deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| وذكر - But remind| به - with it,| أن - lest| تبسل - is given up to destruction| نفس - a soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it (has) earned,| ليس - not| لها - (is) for it| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ولي - any protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor.| وإن - And if| تعدل - it offers ransom -| كل - every| عدل - ransom,| لا - not| يؤخذ - will it be taken| منها - from it.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) ones who| أبسلوا - are given to destruction| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| لهم - For them| شراب - (will be) a drink| من - of| حميم - boiling water| وعذاب - and a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 9 [6:158] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya rabbuka aw ya/tiyabaAAdu ayati rabbika yawma ya/tee baAAduayati rabbika la yanfaAAu nafsan eemanuhalam takun amanat min qablu aw kasabat fee eemanihakhayran quli intathiroo inna muntathiroona | هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا قُلِ انتَظِرُواْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ | |||||

| 10 [13:33] | Afaman huwa qa-imun AAalakulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaqul sammoohum am tunabbi-oonahu bima la yaAAlamufee al-ardi am bithahirin minaalqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddooAAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min hadin | أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل سموهم أم تنبئونه بما لا يعلم في الأرض أم بظاهر من القول بل زين للذين كفروا مكرهم وصدوا عن السبيل ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَاهِرٍ مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Is then He Who| هو - (He)| قائم - (is) a Maintainer| على - of| كل - every| نفس - soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it has earned?| وجعلوا - Yet they ascribe| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners.| قل - Say,| سموهم - "Name them.| أم - Or| تنبئونه - (do) you inform Him| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - He knows| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| بظاهر - of the apparent| من - of| القول - the words?"| بل - Nay,| زين - (is) made fair-seeming| للذين - to those who| كفروا - disbelieve| مكرهم - their plotting,| وصدوا - and they are hindered| عن - from| السبيل - the Path.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - (by) Allah| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 11 [14:51] | Liyajziya Allahu kulla nafsin makasabat inna Allaha sareeAAu alhisabi | ليجزي الله كل نفس ما كسبت إن الله سريع الحساب لِيَجْزِيَ اللّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ | |||||

| 12 [30:41] | Thahara alfasadu feealbarri waalbahri bima kasabat aydee alnnasiliyutheeqahum baAAda allathee AAamiloolaAAallahum yarjiAAoona | ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||

| 14 [42:30] | Wama asabakum min museebatinfabima kasabat aydeekum wayaAAfoo AAan katheerin | وما أصابكم من مصيبة فبما كسبت أيديكم ويعفو عن كثير وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And whatever| أصابكم - befalls you| من - of| مصيبة - (the) misfortune,| فبما - (is because) of what| كسبت - have earned| أيديكم - your hands.| ويعفو - But He pardons| عن - [from]| كثير - much.| | ||||||
| 15 [45:22] | Wakhalaqa Allahu alssamawatiwaal-arda bialhaqqi walitujzakullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona | وخلق الله السماوات والأرض بالحق ولتجزى كل نفس بما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
