بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:225] | La yu-akhithukumu Allahubiallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yu-akhithukumbima kasabat quloobukum waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun
| لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم ولكن يؤاخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم والله غفور حليم لاَّ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ |

| በመሐላዎቻችሁ በውድቁ (ሳታስቡ በምትምሉት) አላህ አይዛችሁም፡፡ ግን ልቦቻችሁ ባሰቡት ይይዛችኋል፡፡ አላህም በጣም መሐሪ ታጋሽ ነው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو } الكائن { في أيمانكم } وهو ما يسبق إليه اللسان من غير قصد الحلف نحو ألا والله، وبلى و الله فلا إثم فيه ولا كفارة { ولكن يؤاخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم } أي قصدته من الأيمان إذا حنثتم { والله غفور } لما كان من اللغو { حليم } بتأخير العقوبة عن مستحقها . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমাদের নিরর্থক শপথের জন্য আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ধরবেন না, কিন্তু সেসব কসমের ব্যাপারে ধরবেন, তোমাদের মন যার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছে। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন ক্ষমাকারী ধৈর্য্যশীল। |
Literal | God does not punish you with (for) nonsense/senseless talk in your oaths , and but He punishes you with (for) what your hearts/minds earned , and God (is) forgiving, clement . |
