| 1 [2:23] | Wa-in kuntum fee raybin mimma nazzalnaAAala AAabdina fa/too bisooratin min mithlihi waodAAooshuhadaakum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena |  وإن كنتم في ريب مما نزلنا على عبدنا فأتوا بسورة من مثله وادعوا شهداءكم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقينوَإِنْ كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ شُهَدَاءَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كنتم - you are| في - in| ريب - doubt| مما - about what| نزلنا - We have revealed| على - to| عبدنا - Our slave,| فأتوا - then produce| بسورة - a chapter| من - [of]| مثله - like it| وادعوا - and call| شهداءكم - your witnesses| من - from| دون - other than| الله - Allah| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:31] | WaAAallama adama al-asmaakullaha thumma AAaradahum AAala almala-ikatifaqala anbi-oonee bi-asma-i haola-iin kuntum sadiqeena | وعلم آدم الأسماء كلها ثم عرضهم على الملائكة فقال أنبئوني بأسماء هؤلاء إن كنتم صادقين وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنْبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاءِ هَـؤُلَاءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلم - And He taught| آدم - Adam| الأسماء - the names -| كلها - all of them.| ثم - Then| عرضهم - He displayed them| على - to| الملائكة - the angels,| فقال - then He said,| أنبئوني - "Inform Me| بأسماء - of (the) names| هؤلاء - (of) these,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:94] | Qul in kanat lakumu alddarual-akhiratu AAinda Allahi khalisatanmin dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | قل إن كانت لكم الدار الآخرة عند الله خالصة من دون الناس فتمنوا الموت إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ اللّهِ خَالِصَةً مِّنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "If -| كانت - is| لكم - for you| الدار - the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| عند - with| الله - Allah| خالصة - exclusively,| من - from| دون - excluding| الناس - the mankind,| فتمنوا - then wish| الموت - (for) [the] death,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:111] | Waqaloo lan yadkhula aljannata illaman kana hoodan aw nasara tilka amaniyyuhumqul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena | وقالوا لن يدخل الجنة إلا من كان هودا أو نصارى تلك أمانيهم قل هاتوا برهانكم إن كنتم صادقين وَقَالُواْ لَن يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ مَن كَانَ هُوداً أَوْ نَصَارَى تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ قُلْ هَاتُواْ بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لن - "Never| يدخل - will enter| الجنة - the Paradise| إلا - except| من - who| كان - is| هودا - (a) Jew[s]| أو - or| نصارى - (a) Christian[s]."| تلك - That| أمانيهم - (is) their wishful thinking.| قل - Say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - [those who are] truthful."| | ||||||
| 5 [3:93] | Kullu alttaAAami kanahillan libanee isra-eela illa ma harramaisra-eelu AAala nafsihi min qabli an tunazzala alttawratuqul fa/too bialttawrati faotlooha inkuntum sadiqeena | كل الطعام كان حلا لبني إسرائيل إلا ما حرم إسرائيل على نفسه من قبل أن تنزل التوراة قل فأتوا بالتوراة فاتلوها إن كنتم صادقين كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِـلاًّ لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلاَّ مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||

| 6 [3:168] | Allatheena qaloo li-ikhwanihimwaqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul faidraooAAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | الذين قالوا لإخوانهم وقعدوا لو أطاعونا ما قتلوا قل فادرءوا عن أنفسكم الموت إن كنتم صادقين الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُواْ لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا قُلْ فَادْرَؤُوا عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قالوا - said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| وقعدوا - while they sat,| لو - "If| أطاعونا - they (had) obeyed us| ما - not| قتلوا - they would have been killed."| قل - Say,| فادرءوا - "Then avert| عن - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| الموت - [the] death| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:183] | Allatheena qaloo inna AllahaAAahida ilayna alla nu/mina lirasoolin hattaya/tiyana biqurbanin ta/kuluhu alnnaruqul qad jaakum rusulun min qablee bialbayyinatiwabiallathee qultum falima qataltumoohum in kutum sadiqeena | الذين قالوا إن الله عهد إلينا ألا نؤمن لرسول حتى يأتينا بقربان تأكله النار قل قد جاءكم رسل من قبلي بالبينات وبالذي قلتم فلم قتلتموهم إن كنتم صادقين الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلاَّ نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قالوا - said,| إن - "Indeed| الله - Allah| عهد - (has) taken promise| إلينا - from us| ألا - that not| نؤمن - we (should) believe| لرسول - in a Messenger| حتى - until| يأتينا - he brings to us| بقربان - a sacrifice -| تأكله - consumes it| النار - the fire."| قل - Say,| قد - "Surely| جاءكم - came to you| رسل - Messengers| من - from| قبلي - before me| بالبينات - with the clear Signs| وبالذي - and with what| قلتم - you speak.| فلم - So why| قتلتموهم - you killed them,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 8 [6:40] | Qul araaytakum in atakum AAathabuAllahi aw atatkumu alssaAAatu aghayra AllahitadAAoona in kuntum sadiqeena | قل أرأيتكم إن أتاكم عذاب الله أو أتتكم الساعة أغير الله تدعون إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُم إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أرأيتكم - "Have you seen| إن - if| أتاكم - (there) came to you| عذاب - punishment| الله - (of) Allah| أو - or| أتتكم - (there) came to you| الساعة - the Hour -| أغير - is it other| الله - (than) Allah| تدعون - you call,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful?"| | ||||||
| 9 [6:143] | Thamaniyata azwajin mina aldda/niithnayni wamina almaAAzi ithnayni qul alththakarayniharrama ami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhiarhamu alonthayayni nabbi-oonee biAAilmin in kuntum sadiqeena | ثمانية أزواج من الضأن اثنين ومن المعز اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين نبئوني بعلم إن كنتم صادقين ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ مِّنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ نَبِّؤُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثمانية - Eight| أزواج - pairs -| من - of| الضأن - the sheep,| اثنين - two| ومن - and of| المعز - the goats| اثنين - two.| قل - Say,| آلذكرين - "(Are) the two males| حرم - He has forbidden| أم - or| الأنثيين - the two females| أما - or what| اشتملت - contains| عليه - [in it]| أرحام - (the) wombs| الأنثيين - (of) the two females?| نبئوني - Inform me| بعلم - with knowledge,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 10 [7:194] | Inna allatheena tadAAoona min dooniAllahi AAibadun amthalukum faodAAoohumfalyastajeeboo lakum in kuntum sadiqeena | إن الذين تدعون من دون الله عباد أمثالكم فادعوهم فليستجيبوا لكم إن كنتم صادقين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ عِبَادٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ فَادْعُوهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those whom| تدعون - you call| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| عباد - (are) slaves| أمثالكم - like you.| فادعوهم - So invoke them| فليستجيبوا - and let them respond| لكم - to you,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 11 [10:38] | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/toobisooratin mithlihi waodAAoo mani istataAAtum mindooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena | أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بسورة مثله وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| يقولون - (do) they say,| افتراه - "He has invented it?"| قل - Say,| فأتوا - "Then bring| بسورة - a Surah| مثله - like it| وادعوا - and call| من - whoever| استطعتم - you can| من - besides Allah,| دون - besides Allah,| الله - besides Allah,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 12 [10:48] | Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena | ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَـذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| متى - "When| هذا - (will) this,| الوعد - the promise (be fulfilled),| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful?"| | ||||||
| 13 [11:13] | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/toobiAAashri suwarin mithlihi muftarayatin waodAAoomani istataAAtum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena | أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بعشر سور مثله مفتريات وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| يقولون - they say,| افتراه - "He has fabricated it."| قل - Say,| فأتوا - "Then bring| بعشر - ten| سور - Surahs| مثله - like it| مفتريات - fabricated,| وادعوا - and call| من - whoever| استطعتم - you can| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 14 [12:17] | Qaloo ya abanainna thahabna nastabiqu wataraknayoosufa AAinda mataAAina faakalahu alththi/buwama anta bimu/minin lana walaw kunna sadiqeena | قالوا يا أبانا إنا ذهبنا نستبق وتركنا يوسف عند متاعنا فأكله الذئب وما أنت بمؤمن لنا ولو كنا صادقين قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا إِنَّا ذَهَبْنَا نَسْتَبِقُ وَتَرَكْنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَاعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَمَا أَنتَ بِمُؤْمِنٍ لِّنَا وَلَوْ كُنَّا صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| إنا - Indeed, we| ذهبنا - [we] went| نستبق - racing each other| وتركنا - and we left| يوسف - Yusuf| عند - with| متاعنا - our possessions,| فأكله - and ate him| الذئب - the wolf.| وما - But not| أنت - you| بمؤمن - (will) believe| لنا - us,| ولو - even if| كنا - we are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||

| 16 [27:64] | Amman yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhuwaman yarzuqukum mina alssama-i waal-ardia-ilahun maAAa Allahi qul hatoo burhanakumin kuntum sadiqeena | أمن يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده ومن يرزقكم من السماء والأرض أإله مع الله قل هاتوا برهانكم إن كنتم صادقين أَمَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَإِلَهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أمن - Or Who| يبدأ - originates| الخلق - the creation| ثم - then| يعيده - repeats it| ومن - and Who| يرزقكم - provides you| من - from| السماء - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| أإله - Is there any god| مع - with| الله - Allah?| قل - Say,| هاتوا - "Bring forth| برهانكم - your proof| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||

| 18 [28:49] | Qul fa/too bikitabin min AAindi Allahihuwa ahda minhuma attabiAAhu in kuntum sadiqeena | قل فأتوا بكتاب من عند الله هو أهدى منهما أتبعه إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَى مِنْهُمَا أَتَّبِعْهُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||

| 19 [32:28] | Wayaqooloona mata hatha alfathuin kuntum sadiqeena | ويقولون متى هذا الفتح إن كنتم صادقين وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
