| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:31] | WaAAallama adama al-asmaakullaha thumma AAaradahum AAala almala-ikatifaqala anbi-oonee bi-asma-i haola-iin kuntum sadiqeena
|  وعلم آدم الأسماء كلها ثم عرضهم على الملائكة فقال أنبئوني بأسماء هؤلاء إن كنتم صادقين
وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنْبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاءِ هَـؤُلَاءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |
| Words | |وعلم - And He taught| آدم - Adam| الأسماء - the names -| كلها - all of them.| ثم - Then| عرضهم - He displayed them| على - to| الملائكة - the angels,| فقال - then He said,| أنبئوني - "Inform Me| بأسماء - of (the) names| هؤلاء - (of) these,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| |

| አደምንም ስሞችን ሁሏንም አስተማረው፡፡ ከዚያም በመላእክት ላይ (ተጠሪዎቹን) አቀረባቸው፡፡ «እውነተኞችም እንደኾናችሁ የነዚህን (ተጠሪዎች) ስሞች ንገሩኝ» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وعلَّم آدم الأسماء } أي أسماء المسميات { كلها } بأن ألقى في قلبه علمها { ثم عرضهم } أي المسميات وفيه تغليب العقلاء { على الملائكة فقال } لهم تبكيتاً { أنبئوني } أخبروني { بأسماء هؤلاء } المسميات { إن كنتم صادقين } في أني لا أخلق أعلم منكم أو أنكم أحق بالخلافة، وجواب الشرط دل عليه ما قبله. |
| Isseêfev akw ismawen i Adem. Sinna, Issken iten i lmalayek, Inna: "efkemt iyI d ismawen n wigi, ma kunemti d sut tidep". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা শিখালেন আদমকে সমস্ত বস্তু-সামগ্রীর নাম। তারপর সে সমস্ত বস্তু-সামগ্রীকে ফেরেশতাদের সামনে উপস্থাপন করলেন। অতঃপর বললেন, আমাকে তোমরা এগুলোর নাম বলে দাও, যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক। |
| Literal | And He taught Adam the names, all of them, then He displayed/exhibited/showed them on (to) the angels, so He said: "Inform Me with (the) names (of) those, if you were truthful." |
