بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wa-ith qala rabbuka lilmala-ikatiinnee jaAAilun fee al-ardi khaleefatan qalooatajAAalu feeha man yufsidu feeha wayasfiku alddimaawanahnu nusabbihu bihamdika wanuqaddisu lakaqala innee aAAlamu ma la taAAlamoona

وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة قالوا أتجعل فيها من يفسد فيها ويسفك الدماء ونحن نسبح بحمدك ونقدس لك قال إني أعلم ما لا تعلمون
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُواْ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُّفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Words

(ሙሐመድ ሆይ) ጌታህ ለመላእክት፡- «እኔ በምድር ላይ ምትክን አድራጊ ነኝ፤» ባለ ጊዜ (የኾነውን አስታውስ፤ እነርሱም) «እኛ ከማመስገን ጋር የምናጠራህ ላንተም የምንቀድስ ስንኾን በርሷ ውስጥ የሚያጠፋንና ደሞችንም የሚያፈስን ታደርጋለህን?» አሉ፡፡ (አላህ) «እኔ የማታውቁትን ነገር አውቃለሁ» አላቸው፡፡

آل الجلالين

{ و } اذكر يا محمد { إذ قال ربُّك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة } يخلفني في تنفيذ أحكامي فيها وهو آدم { قالوا أتجعل فيها من يفسد فيها } بالمعاصي { ويسفك الدماء } يريقها بالقتل كما فعل بنو الجان وكانوا فيها فلما أفسدوا أرسل الله عليهم الملائكة فطردوهم إلى الجزائر والجبال { ونحن نسبِّح } متلبسين { بحمدك } أي نقول سبحان الله وبحمده { ونقِّدس لك } ننزهك عمالا يليق بك فاللام زائدة والجملة حال أي فنحن أحق بالاستخلاف { قال } تعالى { إني أعلم ما لا تعلمون } من المصلحة في استخلاف آدم، وأن ذريته فيهم المطيع والعاصي فيظهر العدل بينهم فقالوا لن يخلق ربنا خلقاً أكرم عليه منا ولا أعلم لسبقنا له ورؤيتنا ما لم يره فخلق الله تعالى آدم من أديم الأرض أي وجهها، بأن قبض منها قبضة من جميع ألوانها وعجنت بالمياه المختلفة وسوَّاهُ ونفخ فيه الروح فصار حيواناً حسَّاساً بعد أن كان جماداً.

Mi Inna Mass ik, i lmalayek: "Nek ad Rre$ aneûûaf di tmurt". Nnant aS: "day a Pperrev, degs, win ara isfesden degs, ara izzizlen idamen? Wanag, nekwenti nesbuccuâ K s ccekôan, u Neôôequ yaK". Inna: "Nek, èôi$ ayen ur teéôimt".

আর তোমার পালনকর্তা যখন ফেরেশতাদিগকে বললেনঃ আমি পৃথিবীতে একজন প্রতিনিধি বানাতে যাচ্ছি, তখন ফেরেশতাগণ বলল, তুমি কি পৃথিবীতে এমন কাউকে সৃষ্টি করবে যে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামার সৃষ্টি করবে এবং রক্তপাত ঘটাবে? অথচ আমরা নিয়ত তোমার গুণকীর্তন করছি এবং তোমার পবিত্র সত্তাকে স্মরণ করছি। তিনি বললেন, নিঃসন্দেহে আমি জানি, যা তোমরা জান না।

Literal

And when your Lord said to the angels: "That I am making/creating/putting in the earth a caliph/successor/leader ." They said: "Do you make/create/put in it, who corrupts in it and sheds the blood, and we praise/glorify with Your praise and we (continue to admit Your) holiness/sanctity to You." He said: "I know what you do not know."

Yusuf Ali

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy in the earth, they said: Wilt thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I know that which ye know not.

And when thy Lord said to the angels, 'I am setting in the earth a viceroy.' They said, 'What, wilt Thou set therein one who will do corruption there, and shed blood, while We proclaim Thy praise and call Thee Holy?' He said, 'Assuredly I know that you know not.'

And when your Lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said: What! wilt Thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood, and we celebrate Thy praise and extol Thy holiness? He said: Surely I know what you do not know.

When your Lord said to the angels, "I am appointing someone as my deputy on earth," they said (almost protesting), "Are you going to appoint one who will commit corruption and bloodshed therein, even though we (are the ones who) commemorate Your Name and glorify You?" The Lord said, "I know that which you do not know".

Note that occasion, when your Lord said to the angels: I am going to place a vicegerent on earth. They said: "Will You place there one who will make mischief and shed blood while we sing Your praises and glorify Your name?" Allah said: "I know what you know not."[30]

[God] answered: "Verily, I know that which you do not know."

Recall that your Lord said to the angels, "I am placing a representative (a temporary god) on Earth." They said, "Will You place therein one who will spread evil therein and shed blood, while we sing Your praises, glorify You, and uphold Your absolute authority?" He said, "I know what you do not know."

Hilali/Khan**

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know."

He announced His Plan to the angels (the Universal physical Laws), "Behold, I am about to place a creation in the earth that will inherit it." They exclaimed, "Will you place on it such creation as will cause disorder therein and shed blood! Whereas we strive to establish Your glory in the Universe and make it manifest that You Lord are Impeccable!" He answered, "Behold, I know that which you know not." ((15:27), (16:49-50)). Na gowani, na pitharo o Kadnan ka ko manga malaikat a: "Mataan! a Sakn na magmbaal Ako sii ko lopa sa khalifa." Na pitharo iran a: "Ino Ka on pagmbaal sa taw a phaminasa on go phamakaragiray ron ko manga rogo? - a skami na ipthasbik ami so poding Ka, go pzotin ami Ska?" Pitharo Iyan a: "Mataan! a Sakn na katawan Ko so di niyo katawan."

اور یاد کرو جب تمہارے رب نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا، میں زمین میں اپنا نائب بنانے والا ہوں بولے کیا ایسے کو نائب کرے گا جو اس میں فساد پھیلائے گا اور خونریزیاں کرے گا اور ہم تجھے سراہتے ہوئے، تیری تسبیح کرتے اور تیری پاکی بولتے ہیں، فرمایا مجھے معلوم ہے جو تم نہیں جانتے-

اور (یاد کرو)جب کہا تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سےکہ یقینًامیں بنانے والا ہوں زمین میں ایک خلیفہ تو انہوں نے کہا تو مقّررکرے گا زمین میں (خلیفہ) اس کو جو فساد برپاکرے گا اس میں اور خونریزیاں کرے گا جبکہ ہم تسبیح کرتے ہیں تیری حمد وثناکے ساتھ اور تقدیس کرتے ہیں تیری۔اللہ نے فرمایا: یقینًامیں جانتا ہوں وہ کچھ جو تم نہیں جانتے۔

اور (وہ وقت یاد کرنے کے قابل ہے) جب تمہارے پروردگار نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ میں زمین میں (اپنا) نائب بنانے والا ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا۔ کیا تُو اس میں ایسے شخص کو نائب بنانا چاہتا ہے جو خرابیاں کرے اور کشت وخون کرتا پھرے اور ہم تیری تعریف کے ساتھ تسبیح وتقدیس کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ (خدا نے) فرمایا میں وہ باتیں جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے

اور جب کہا تیرے رب نے فرشتوں کو کہ میں بنانیوالا ہوں زمین میں ایک نائب کہا فرشتوں نے کیا قائم کرتا ہے تو زمین میں اسکو جو فساد کرے اس میں اور خون بہائے اور ہم پڑھتے رہتے ہیں تیری خوبیاں اور یاد کرتے ہیں تیری پاک ذات کو فرمایا بیشک مجھ کو معلوم ہے

پھر ذرا اس وقت کا تصور کرو جب تمہارے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا تھا کہ "میں زمین میں ایک خلیفہ بنانے والا ہوں" انہوں نے عرض کیا: "کیا آپ زمین میں کسی ایسے کو مقر ر کرنے والے ہیں، جو اس کے انتظام کو بگاڑ دے گا اور خونریزیاں کرے گا آپ کی حمد و ثنا کے ساتھ تسبیح اور آپ کے لیے تقدیس تو ہم کر ہی رہے ہیں" فرمایا: "میں جانتا ہوں جو کچھ تم نہیں جانتے"

اور جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا میں زمین میں ایک نائب بنانے والا ہوں فرشتوں نے کہا کیا تو زمین میں ایسے شخص کو نائب بنانا چاہتا ہے جو فساد پھیلائے اور خون بہائے حالانکہ ہم تیری حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح بیان کرتے اور تیری پاکی بیان کرتے ہیں فرمایا میں جو کچھ جانتا ہوں وہ تم نہیں جانتے
