| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:85] | Wala tuAAjibka amwaluhum waawladuhuminnama yureedu Allahu an yuAAaththibahum bihafee alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona
|  ولا تعجبك أموالهم وأولادهم إنما يريد الله أن يعذبهم بها في الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون
وَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ |
| Words | |ولا - And (let) not| تعجبك - impress you| أموالهم - their wealth| وأولادهم - and their children.| إنما - Only| يريد - Allah intends| الله - Allah intends| أن - to| يعذبهم - punish them| بها - with it| في - in| الدنيا - the world,| وتزهق - and will depart| أنفسهم - their souls| وهم - while they| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| |

| ገንዘቦቻቸውና ልጆቻቸውም አይድነቁህ፡፡ አላህ የሚሻው በቅርቢቱ ዓለም በነሱ ሊቀጣቸውና ከሓዲዎችም ኾነው ነፍሶቻቸው እንዲወጡ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولا تعجبك أموالهم وأولادهم إنما يريد الله أن يعذبهم بها في الدنيا وتزهق } تخرج { أنفسهم وهم كافرون } . |
| Ur k ippaâoab wayla nnsen, ne$ dderya nnsen. Öebbi Ib$a kan a ten Iâaqeb yissen di ddunit, ad asen teffe$ taôwiêt nitni d ijehliyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর বিস্মিত হয়ো না তাদের ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্তুতির দরুন। আল্লাহ তো এই চান যে, এ সবের কারণে তাদেরকে আযাবের ভেতরে রাখবেন দুনিয়ায় এবং তাদের প্রাণ নির্গত হওয়া পর্যন্ত যেন তারা কাফেরই থাকে। |
| Literal | And let (not) their properties/wealths and their children please/marvel you, but God wants that He tortures them with it in the present world and their selves go out/perish and (while) they are disbelieving. |
| Yusuf Ali | Nor let their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah. |
