1 [74:16] | Kalla innahu kana li-ayatinaAAaneedan
| كلا إنه كان لآياتنا عنيدا كَلَّا إِنَّهُ كَانَ لِآيَاتِنَا عَنِيدًا |
| Words | |كلا - By no means!| إنه - Indeed, he| كان - has been| لآياتنا - to Our Verses| عنيدا - stubborn.| |

| ይከልከል፤ እርሱ ለአንቀጾቻችን በእርግጥ ተቃዋሚ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { كلا } لا أزيده على ذلك { إنه كان لآياتنا } القرآن { عنيدا } معاندا. |
| Xaîi! Atan, issekniyen nne£, inkeô iten. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | কখনই নয়! সে আমার নিদর্শনসমূহের বিরুদ্ধাচরণকারী। |
| Literal | No, but he was to Our verses/evidences stubborn/obstinate. |
| Yusuf Ali | By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory! |
| Pickthal | Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations. |
| Arberry | Nay! He is forward unto Our signs; |
