بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wakam min qaryatin ahlaknahafajaaha ba/suna bayatan aw hum qa-iloona وكم من قرية أهلكناها فجاءها بأسنا بياتا أو هم قائلون
وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا فَجَاءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ
 Words|وكم - And how many| من - of| قرية - a city| أهلكناها - We destroyed it,| فجاءها - and came to it| بأسنا - Our punishment| بياتا - (at) night| أو - or| هم - (while) they| قائلون - were sleeping at noon.|

ከከተማም ልናጠፋት የሻነው ወዲያውም ብርቱ ቅጣታችን ሌሊት ወይም ቀን እነርሱ በቀትር አርፈው ሳሉ የመጣባቸው ብዙ ናቸው፡፡
آل الجلالين{ وكم } خبرية مفعول { من قرية } أريد أهلها { أهلكناها } أردنا إهلاكها { فجاءها بأسنا } عذابا { بياتا } ليلا { أو هم قائلون } نائمون بالظهيرة والقيلولة استراحة نصف النهار وإن لم يكن معها نوم أي مرة جاءها ليلا ومرَّة جاءها نهارا .

মুহিউদ্দীন খানআর তোমরা অল্পই উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর। অনেক জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব রাত্রি বেলায় পৌছেছে অথবা দ্বিপ্রহরে বিশ্রামরত অবস্থায়।
