| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:197] | Waallatheena tadAAoona mindoonihi la yastateeAAoona nasrakum walaanfusahum yansuroona
|  والذين تدعون من دونه لا يستطيعون نصركم ولا أنفسهم ينصرون
وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنْصُرُونَ |
| Words | |والذين - And those whom| تدعون - you invoke| من - from| دونه - besides Him,| لا - not| يستطيعون - they are able| نصركم - (to) help you| ولا - and not| أنفسهم - themselves| ينصرون - can they help.| |

| እነዚያም ከእርሱ በቀር የምትገ³ቸው ሊረÇችሁ አይችሉም፡፡ ነፍሶቻቸውንም አይረዱም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { والذين تدعون من دونه لا يستطيعون نصركم ولا أنفسهم ينصرون } فكيف أبالي بهم . |
| Wid tnaâôem, war Neppa, ur zmiren a kwen âawnen, ne$ ad âawnen iman nnsen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তোমরা তাঁকে বাদ দিয়ে যাদেরকে ডাক তারা না তোমাদের কোন সাহায্য করতে পারবে, না নিজেদের আত্নরক্ষা করতে পারবে। |
| Literal | And those who you call from other than Him, they are not able (to) give you victory/aid, and nor give victory/aid (to) themselves. |
| Yusuf Ali | "But those ye call upon besides Him, are unable to help you, and indeed to help themselves." |
