| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:139] | Inna haola-i mutabbarun mahum feehi wabatilun ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
|  إن هؤلاء متبر ما هم فيه وباطل ما كانوا يعملون
إِنَّ هَـؤُلاَءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Words | |إن - Indeed| هؤلاء - these,| متبر - destroyed| ما - (is) what| هم - they| فيه - (are) in it| وباطل - and vain| ما - (is) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do."| |

| «እነዚህ እነርሱ በውስጡ ያሉበት ነገር ጠፊ ነው፡፡ ይሰሩት የነበሩትም ብልሹ ነው» (አላቸው)፤ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن هؤلاء مُتَبَّرٌ } هالك { ما هم فيه وباطل ما كانوا يعملون } . |
| Wigi, s tidep, ad inger wayen ideg llan, ad inqev wayen xeddmen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এরা যে, কাজে নিয়োজিত রয়েছে তা ধ্বংস হবে এবং যা কিছু তারা করেছে তা যে ভুল! |
| Literal | That those what they are in it (is) destroyed/ruined/broken, and what they were making/doing is being wasted/annulled . |
| Yusuf Ali | "As to these folk,- the cult they are in is (but) a fragment of a ruin, and vain is the (worship) which they practise." |
