| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[63:3] | Thalika bi-annahum amanoothumma kafaroo fatubiAAa AAala quloobihim fahum layafqahoona
|  ذلك بأنهم آمنوا ثم كفروا فطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يفقهون
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ |
| Words | |ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because| آمنوا - they believed,| ثم - then| كفروا - they disbelieved;| فطبع - so were sealed| على - [upon]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يفقهون - understand.| |

| ይህ እነርሱ (በምላስ) ያመኑ ከዚያም (በልብ) የካዱ በመኾናቸው ነው፡፡ በልቦቻቸውም ላይ ታተመባቸው፤ ስለዚህ እነርሱ አያውቁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ذلك } أي سوء عملهم { بأنهم آمنوا } باللسان { ثم كفروا } بالقلب، أي استمروا على كفرهم به { فطبع } ختم { على قلوبهم } بالكفر { فهم لا يفقهون } الإيمان. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এটা এজন্য যে, তারা বিশ্বাস করার পর পুনরায় কাফের হয়েছে। ফলে তাদের অন্তরে মোহর মেরে দেয়া হয়েছে। অতএব তারা বুঝে না। |
| Literal | That (is) because they (E) believed, then they disbelieved, so (it) was stamped/sealed on their hearts/minds , so they do not understand/learn . |
