| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[52:42] | Am yureedoona kaydan faallatheenakafaroo humu almakeedoona
|  أم يريدون كيدا فالذين كفروا هم المكيدون
أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ |
| Words | |أم - Or| يريدون - (do) they intend| كيدا - a plot?| فالذين - But those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| هم - themselves| المكيدون - (are in) the plot.| |

| ወይስ ተንኮልን (ባንተ) ይሻሉን? እነዚያም የካዱት እነርሱ በተንኮል ተሸናፊዎች ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { أم يريدون كيدا } بك ليهلكوك في دار الندوة { فالذين كفروا هم المكيدون } المغلوبون المهلكون فحفظه الله منهم ثم أهلكهم ببدر . |
| Ne$ b$an ad andin? D wid ijehlen ara ipwaîîfen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | না তারা চক্রান্ত করতে চায়? অতএব যারা কাফের, তারই চক্রান্তের শিকার হবে। |
| Literal | Or they want/intend a plot/conspiracy ? So those who disbelieved they are the plotted/conspired against . |
| Yusuf Ali | Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! |
