1 [41:34] | Wala tastawee alhasanatu walaalssayyi-atu idfaAA biallatee hiya ahsanufa-itha allathee baynaka wabaynahu AAadawatunkaannahu waliyyun hameemun
| ولا تستوي الحسنة ولا السيئة ادفع بالتي هي أحسن فإذا الذي بينك وبينه عداوة كأنه ولي حميم وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ |
Words | |ولا - And not| تستوي - (are) equal| الحسنة - the good (deed)| ولا - and| السيئة - the evil (deed).| ادفع - Repel| بالتي - by (that) which| هي - [it]| أحسن - (is) better;| فإذا - then behold!| الذي - One who,| بينك - between you| وبينه - and between him,| عداوة - (was) enmity,| كأنه - (will become) as if he| ولي - (was) a friend| حميم - intimate.| |

| መልካሚቱና ክፉይቱም (ጸባይ) አይተካከሉም፡፡ በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነችው ጸባይ (መጥፎይቱን) ገፍትር፡፡ ያን ጊዜ ያ ባንተና በእርሱ መካከል ጠብ ያለው ሰው እርሱ ልክ እንደ አዛኝ ዘመድ ይኾናል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولا تستوي الحسنة ولا السيئة } في جزئياتهما بعضهما فوق بعض { ادفع } السيئة { بالتي } أي بالخصلة التي { هي أحسن } كالغضب بالصبر والجهل بالحلم والإساءة بالعفو { فإذا الذي بينك وبينه عداوة كأنه ولي حميم } أي فيصير عدوك كالصديق القريب في محبته إذا فعلت ذلك فالذي مبتدأ وكأنه الخبر وإذا ظرف لمعنى التشبيه . |
| Ur iaâdil ise$ akked tucmip. Err ip akin, s wayen ip yifen. Ma tella cceêna, garak d yiwen, ad iu$al d aêbib i k iêemmlen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সমান নয় ভাল ও মন্দ। জওয়াবে তাই বলুন যা উৎকৃষ্ট। তখন দেখবেন আপনার সাথে যে ব্যক্তির শত্রুতা রয়েছে, সে যেন অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু। |
Literal | And the good/goodness does not become equal/alike and nor the sin/crime, pay/push/repel with which it is best , so then who (is) between you and between him animosity as though/as if he (is a) concerned guardian/ally . |
Yusuf Ali | Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate! |
Pickthal | The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend. |
