[40:27] | Waqala moosa innee AAuthtubirabbee warabbikum min kulli mutakabbirin la yu/minubiyawmi alhisabi
|  وقال موسى إني عذت بربي وربكم من كل متكبر لا يؤمن بيوم الحساب
وَقَالَ مُوسَى إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ |
| Words | |وقال - And said| موسى - Musa,| إني - "Indeed, I| عذت - [I] seek refuge| بربي - in my Lord| وربكم - and your Lord| من - from| كل - every| متكبر - arrogant one| لا - not| يؤمن - who believes| بيوم - (in the) Day| الحساب - (of) the Account."| |

| ሙሳም «እኔ በምርመራው ቀን ከማያምን ትዕቢተኛ ሁሉ በጌታዬና በጌታችሁ ተጠበቅሁ» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقال موسى } لقومه وقد سمع ذلك إني عذت بربي وربكم من كل متكبر لا يؤمن بيوم الحساب } . |
| Inna Musa: "nek, ad iyi Iûûeô Mass iw u Mass nnwen, si yal amzuxi, ur numin s wass uqeîîi". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মূসা বলল, যারা হিসাব দিবসে বিশ্বাস করে না এমন প্রত্যেক অহংকারী থেকে আমি আমার ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আশ্রয় নিয়ে নিয়েছি। |
| Literal | And Moses said: "That I seeked protection with (from) my Lord, and your Lord, from every arrogant (that) does not believe, with (in) the Account Day/Resurrection Day." |
| Yusuf Ali | Moses said: "I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account!" |
