[4:38] | Waallatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumri-aa alnnasi wala yu/minoona biAllahiwala bialyawmi al-akhiri waman yakuni alshshaytanulahu qareenan fasaa qareenan
|  والذين ينفقون أموالهم رئاء الناس ولا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر ومن يكن الشيطان له قرينا فساء قرينا
وَالَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَـاءَ النَّاسِ وَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَن يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا |
| Words | |والذين - And those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| رئاء - to be seen| الناس - (by) the people| ولا - and not| يؤمنون - they believe| بالله - in Allah| ولا - and not| باليوم - in the Day| الآخر - the Last,| ومن - and whoever| يكن - has| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| له - for him| قرينا - (as) companion -| فساء - then evil| قرينا - (is he as) a companion.| |

| እነዚያም ለሰዎች ይውልኝ ሲሉ ገንዘቦቻቸውን የሚሰጡ በአላህና በመጨረሻውም ቀን የማያምኑ (ይቀጥጣሉ)፡፡ ሰይጣንም ለእርሱ ጓደኛው የኾነ ሰው ጓደኛነቱ ከፋ! |
| آل الجلالين | { والذين } عطف على الذين قبله { ينفقون أموالهم رئاء الناس } مرائين لهم { ولا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر } كالمنافقين وأهل مكة { ومن يكن الشيطان له قرينا } صاحبا يعمل بأمره كهؤلاء { فساء } بئس { قرينا } هو . |
| wid ipûeôôifen ayla nnsen, iwakken a ten id walin medden, ur uminen s Öebbi akked wass aneggaru; wid isâan Cciîan d amsaâaf. A yir amsaâaf! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর সে সমস্ত লোক যারা ব্যয় করে স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ লোক-দেখানোর উদ্দেশে এবং যারা আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান আনে না, ঈমান আনে না কেয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি এবং শয়তান যার সাথী হয় সে হল নিকৃষ্টতর সাথী। |
| Literal | Those who spend their properties/wealths showing off/pretending/appearing (to) the people, and do not believe with God, and nor with the Day the Last/Resurrection Day, and who the devil is for him a companion , so he was/is a bad/evil companion. |
| Yusuf Ali | Not those who spend of their substance, to be seen of men, but have no faith in Allah and the Last Day: If any take the Evil One for their intimate, what a dreadful intimate he is! |
| Pickthal | And (also) those who spend their wealth in order to be seen of men, and believe not in Allah nor the Last Day. Whoso taketh Satan for a comrade, a bad comrade hath he. |
