[4:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuittaqoo rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatinwakhalaqa minha zawjaha wabaththa minhumarijalan katheeran wanisaan waittaqoo Allahaallathee tasaaloona bihi waal-arhamainna Allaha kana AAalaykum raqeeban
|  يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة وخلق منها زوجها وبث منهما رجالا كثيرا ونساء واتقوا الله الذي تساءلون به والأرحام إن الله كان عليكم رقيبا
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا |
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الناس - mankind!| اتقوا - Fear| ربكم - your Lord| الذي - the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| نفس - a soul| واحدة - single| وخلق - and created| منها - from it| زوجها - its mate| وبث - and dispersed| منهما - from both of them| رجالا - men| كثيرا - many| ونساء - and women.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| الذي - (through) Whom| تساءلون - you ask| به - [with it]| والأرحام - and the wombs.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليكم - over you| رقيبا - Ever-Watchful.| |

| እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! ያንን ከአንዲት ነፍስ (ከአዳም) የፈጠራችሁን ከእርስዋም መቀናጆዋን (ሔዋንን) የፈጠረውን ከእነርሱም ብዙ ወንዶችንና ሴቶች የበተነውን ጌታችሁን ፍሩ፡፡ ያንንም በርሱ የምትጠያየቁበትን አላህንና ዝምድናዎችንም (ከመቁረጥ) ተጠንቀቁ፡፡ አላህ በእናንተ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يا أيها الناس } أي أهل مكة { اتقوا ربكم } أي عقابه بأن تطيعوه { الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة } آدم { وخلق منها زوجها } حواء بالمد من ضلع من أضلاعه اليسرى { وبث } فرق ونشر { منهما } من آدم وحواء { رجالا كثيرا ونساء } كثيرة { واتقوا الله الذي تَسّاءلون } فيه إدغام التاء في الأصل في السين، وفي قراءة بالتخفيف بحذفها أي تتساءلون { به } فيما بينكم حيث يقول بعضكم لبعض أسألك بالله وأنشدك بالله { و } اتقوا { الأرحام } أن تقطعوها، وفي قراءة بالجر عطفا على الضمير في به وكانوا يتناشدون بالرحم { إنَّ الله كان عليكم رقيبا } حافظا لأعمالكم فيجازيكم بها، أي لم يزل متصفا بذلك . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | হে মানব সমাজ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর, যিনি তোমাদেরকে এক ব্যক্তি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যিনি তার থেকে তার সঙ্গীনীকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন; আর বিস্তার করেছেন তাদের দু’জন থেকে অগণিত পুরুষ ও নারী। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যাঁর নামে তোমরা একে অপরের নিকট যাচঞ্ঝা করে থাক এবং আত্নীয় জ্ঞাতিদের ব্যাপারে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের ব্যাপারে সচেতন রয়েছেন। |

Evolution took place, as has been alluded to in this Book (16:8), (20:50), (21:30), (22:45), (30:20), (31:28), (51:49). Eventually, numerous men and women came into existence on the earth. Since all of you have this common origin, you must consider all mankind as one community (10:19), (57:25). Your first step in that direction is to strengthen your family relations. Be careful of your duty to Allah in Whose Name you expect rights from one another. Allah ever Watches over you. |
