[4:120] | YaAAiduhum wayumanneehim wamayaAAiduhumu alshshaytanu illa ghurooran
|  يعدهم ويمنيهم وما يعدهم الشيطان إلا غرورا
يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا |
| Words | |يعدهم - He promises them| ويمنيهم - and arouses desires in them| وما - and not| يعدهم - promises them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan -| إلا - except| غرورا - deception.| |

| (የማይፈጸመውን) ተስፋ ይሰጣቸዋል፡፡ ያስመኛቸዋልም፡፡ ሰይጣንም ለማታለል እንጅ አይቀጥራቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يعدهم } طول العمر { ويمنيهم } نيل الآمال في الدنيا وألا بعث ولا جزاء { وما يعدهم الشيطان } بذلك { إلا غرورا } باطلا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সে তাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় এবং তাদেরকে আশ্বাস দেয়। শয়তান তাদেরকে যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়, তা সব প্রতারণা বৈ নয়। |
