| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[37:89] | Faqala innee saqeemun
|  فقال إني سقيم
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ |
| Words | |فقال - And he said,| إني - "Indeed, I am| سقيم - sick."| |

| «እኔ በሽተኛ ነኝም» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فقال إني سقيم } عليل أي سأسقم . |
| inna: "aql i ulwa$". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং বললঃ আমি পীড়িত। |
| Literal | So he said: "That I am sick/ill ." |
| Yusuf Ali | And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" |
| Pickthal | Then said: Lo! I feel sick! |
| Arberry | and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' |
| Shakir | Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). |
| Sarwar | and said, "I am sick!". |
