| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[37:24] | Waqifoohum innahum masooloona
|  وقفوهم إنهم مسئولون
وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْئُولُونَ |
| Words | |وقفوهم - And stop them;| إنهم - indeed, they| مسئولون - (are) to be questioned."| |

| «አቁሟቸውም፡፡ እነርሱ ተጠያቂዎች ናቸውና» (ይባላል)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقفوهم } احبسوهم عن الصراط { إنهم مسئولون } عن جميع أقوالهم، ويقال لهم توبيخا . |
| Eîîfet pen, ih, nitni fellasen asteqsi. Ê |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং তাদেরকে থামাও, তারা জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে; |
| Literal | And stop/suspend them , that they are questioned. |
| Yusuf Ali | "But stop them, for they must be asked: |
| Pickthal | And stop them, for they must be questioned. |
| Arberry | And halt them, to be questioned: |
