| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[36:23] | Aattakhithu min doonihi alihatanin yuridni alrrahmanu bidurrin la tughniAAannee shafaAAatuhum shay-an wala yunqithooni
|  أأتخذ من دونه آلهة إن يردن الرحمن بضر لا تغن عني شفاعتهم شيئا ولا ينقذون
أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَن بِضُرٍّ لاَّ تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُنقِذُونِ |

| «ከእርሱ ሌላ አማልክትን እይዛለሁን? አልረህማን በጉዳት ቢሻኝ ምልጃቸው ከእኔ (ለመመለስ) ምንም አትጠቅመኝም፤ አያድኑኝምም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { أأتخذ } في الهمزتين ما تقدم في أأنذرتهم وهو استفهام بمعنى النفي { من دونه } أي غيره { آلهة } أصناما { إن يُردْن الرحمن بضر لا تغن عني شفاعتهم } التي زعمتموها { شيئا ولا ينقذون } صفة آلهة . |
| Day ad sâu$, war Neppa, iôebbiten? Ur iyi d teppawi acemma cafuâa nnsen, ma Irad iyi Uênin ccqa; ur iyi pselliken. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি কি তাঁর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্যদেরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করব? করুণাময় যদি আমাকে কষ্টে নিপতিত করতে চান, তবে তাদের সুপারিশ আমার কোনই কাজে আসবে না এবং তারা আমাকে রক্ষাও করতে পারবে না। |
| Literal | Do I take from other than Him gods, if the merciful wants/intends me with harm, (so) their mediation does not enrich/suffice me from me a thing, and they do not rescue/save me. |
