| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[34:35] | Waqaloo nahnu aktharu amwalanwaawladan wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena
|  وقالوا نحن أكثر أموالا وأولادا وما نحن بمعذبين
وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ |
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| نحن - "We| أكثر - (have) more| أموالا - wealth| وأولادا - and children,| وما - and not| نحن - we| بمعذبين - will be punished."| |

| «እኛም በገንዘቦችና በልጆች ይበልጥ የበዛን ነን፡፡ እኛም የምንቀጣ አይደለንም» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقالوا نحن أكثر أموالا وأولادا } ممن آمن { وما نحن بمعذبين } . |
| Nnan: "nekwni, n$elb ik ayla, tarwa. Ur nelli d wid ara ippuqeîîin". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আরও বলেছে, আমরা ধনে-জনে সমৃদ্ধ, সুতরাং আমরা শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হব না। |
| Literal | And they said: "We (have) more properties/possessions/wealths and children, and we are not with being tortured." |
| Yusuf Ali | They said: "We have more in wealth and in sons, and we cannot be punished." |
