[31:33] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuittaqoo rabbakum waikhshaw yawman la yajzee walidunAAan waladihi wala mawloodun huwa jazin AAan walidihishay-an inna waAAda Allahi haqqun falataghurrannakumu alhayatu alddunya walayaghurrannakum biAllahi algharooru
|  يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم واخشوا يوما لا يجزي والد عن ولده ولا مولود هو جاز عن والده شيئا إن وعد الله حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا ولا يغرنكم بالله الغرور
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ |
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الناس - mankind!| اتقوا - Fear| ربكم - your Lord| واخشوا - and fear| يوما - a Day| لا - not| يجزي - can avail| والد - a father| عن - [for]| ولده - his son| ولا - and not| مولود - a son,| هو - he| جاز - (can) avail| عن - [for]| والده - his father| شيئا - anything.| إن - Indeed,| وعد - (the) Promise| الله - (of) Allah| حق - (is) True,| فلا - so let not deceive you| تغرنكم - so let not deceive you| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| ولا - and let not deceive you| يغرنكم - and let not deceive you| بالله - about Allah| الغرور - the deceiver.| |

| እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! ጌታችሁን ፍሩ፡፡ ወላጅም ከልጁ (በምንም) የማይጠቅምበትን፤ ተወላጅም እርሱ ወላጅን በምንም ጠቃሚ የማይሆንበትን ቀን ፍሩ፡፡ የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነውና፡፡ ቅርቢቱም ሕይወት አትሸንግላችሁ፡፡ በአላህም (መታገስ) አታላዩ (ሰይጣን) አያታልላችሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يا أيها الناس } أي أهل مكة { اتقوا ربكم واخشوْا يوما لا يجزي } يغني { والد عن ولده } فيه شيئا { ولا مولود عن هو جاز عن والده } فيه { شيئا إن وعد الله حقٌ } بالبعث { فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا } عن الإسلام { ولا يغرنكم بالله } في حلمه وإمهاله { الغرور } الشيطان. |
| A yimdanen! Ëezzbet i Mass nnwen. Agwadet ass ideg ababat ur d ilehhu d mmi s, u mmi s ur d ilehhu d baba s, s wacemma. Ih, lemâahda n Öebbi, d tidep. Ur kwen tep$uôôu tmeddurt n ddunit. Ur kwen issefôa$ im$weôôi, $ef Öebbi. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | হে মানব জাতি! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর এবং ভয় কর এমন এক দিবসকে, যখন পিতা পুত্রের কোন কাজে আসবে না এবং পুত্রও তার পিতার কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতএব, পার্থিব জীবন যেন তোমাদেরকে ধোঁকা না দেয় এবং আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রতারক শয়তানও যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত না করে। |
| Literal | You, you the people, fear and obey your Lord, and fear a day/time a father does not reimburse/substitute from his child/children, and nor a child/new born, he is substituting/replacing from his father a thing, that truly God's promise (is) true/truth , so let not the life the present/worldly live deceive/tempt you, and nor the deceit/temptation deceive/tempt you with God. |
| Yusuf Ali | O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. |
