[3:39] | Fanadat-hu almala-ikatu wahuwaqa-imun yusallee fee almihrabi annaAllaha yubashshiruka biyahya musaddiqanbikalimatin mina Allahi wasayyidan wahasooranwanabiyyan mina alssaliheena
|  فنادته الملائكة وهو قائم يصلي في المحراب أن الله يبشرك بيحيى مصدقا بكلمة من الله وسيدا وحصورا ونبيا من الصالحين
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَـى مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ |

| እርሱም በጸሎት ማድረሻው ክፍል ቆሞ ሲጸልይ መላእክት ጠራችው፡፡ «አላህ በየሕያ ከአላህ በኾነ ቃል የሚያረጋግጥ ጌታም ድንግልም ከደጋጎቹ ነቢይም ሲኾን ያበስርሃል» በማለት (መላእክት ጠራችው)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فنادته الملائكة } أي جبريل { وهو قائم يصلي في المحراب } أي المسجد { أنَّ } أي بأن وفي قراءة بالكسر بتقدير القول { الله يُبشِّرك } مثقلا ومخففا { بيحيى مصدِّقاً بكلمة } كائنة { من الله } أي بعيسى أنه روح الله وسُمي كلمة لأنه خلق بكلمة كن { وسيِّدا } متبوعا { وحصورا } ممنوعا من النساء { ونبيا من الصالحين } رُوي أنه لم يعمل خطيئة ولم يهم بها . |
| Mi ibedd, ipéalla di lmeêreb, ssawlent as d lmalayek: "Ibecceô ik Öebbi s Yaêia, d atebbet n wawal n Öebbi, d ssid, d azedgan, d nnbi, seg iâaôviyen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তিনি কামরার ভেতরে নামাযে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, তখন ফেরেশতারা তাঁকে ডেকে বললেন যে, আল্লাহ তোমাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন ইয়াহইয়া সম্পর্কে, যিনি সাক্ষ্য দেবেন আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সত্যতা সম্পর্কে, যিনি নেতা হবেন এবং নারীদের সংস্পর্শে যাবেন না, তিনি অত্যন্ত সৎকর্মশীল নবী হবেন। |
| Literal | So the angels called him, and he is standing/keeping praying, in the prayer's niche : "That God announces good new to you with John confirming with a word from God and a master and restricting himself (chaste) , and a prophet from the correct/righteous people." |
