| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:141] | Waliyumahhisa Allahuallatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireena
|  وليمحص الله الذين آمنوا ويمحق الكافرين
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ |
| Words | |وليمحص - And so that may purify| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| ويمحق - and destroy| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| |

| አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን (ከኀጢአት) ሊያነጻና ከሓዲዎችንም ሊያጠፋ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وليمحِّص الله الذين آمنوا } يطهرهم من الذنوب بما يصيبهم { ويمحق } يهلك { الكافرين } . |
| Iwakken ad Ijeôôeb Öebbi wid iumnen, u ad Isqucc ijehliyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর এ কারণে আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদেরকে পাক-সাফ করতে চান এবং কাফেরদেরকে ধবংস করে দিতে চান। |
| Literal | And (for) God to purify/clarify/cleanse those who believed, and to annihilate/wipe off the disbelievers. |
| Yusuf Ali | Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith. |
| Pickthal | And that Allah may prove those who believe, and may blight the disbelievers. |
