| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[29:31] | Walamma jaat rusulunaibraheema bialbushra qaloo innamuhlikoo ahli hathihi alqaryati inna ahlaha kanoothalimeena
|  ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى قالوا إنا مهلكو أهل هذه القرية إن أهلها كانوا ظالمين
وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَى قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُواْ أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ |
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءت - came| رسلنا - Our messengers| إبراهيم - (to) Ibrahim| بالبشرى - with the glad tidings| قالوا - they said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| مهلكو - (are) going to destroy| أهل - (the) people| هذه - (of) this| القرية - town.| إن - Indeed,| أهلها - its people| كانوا - are| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| |

| መልክተኞቻችንም ኢብራሂምን በብስራት በመጡት ጊዜ «እኛ የዚህችን ከተማ ሰዎች አጥፊዎች ነን፡፡ ሰዎቿ በዳዮች ነበሩና» አሉት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى } بإسحاق ويعقوب بعده { قالوا إنا مهلكوا أهل هذه القرية } أي قرية لوط { إن أهلها كانوا ظالمين } كافرين. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ সুসংবাদ নিয়ে ইব্রাহীমের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, আমরা এই জনপদের অধিবাসীদেরকে ধ্বংস করব। নিশ্চয় এর অধিবাসীরা জালেম। |
| Literal | And when Our messengers, came (to) Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are (E), we are perishing/destroying , this the village's/urban cities' people , that (E) its people were unjust/oppressive." |
