| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[29:18] | Wa-in tukaththiboo faqad kaththabaomamun min qablikum wama AAala alrrasooliilla albalaghu almubeenu
|  وإن تكذبوا فقد كذب أمم من قبلكم وما على الرسول إلا البلاغ المبين
وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| تكذبوا - you deny| فقد - then verily,| كذب - denied| أمم - (the) nations| من - before you.| قبلكم - before you.| وما - And not| على - (is) on| الرسول - the Messenger| إلا - except| البلاغ - the conveyance| المبين - clear."| |

| «ብታስተባብሉም ከፊታችሁ የነበሩት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል፡፡ በመልክተኛውም ላይ ግልጽ ማድረስ እንጂ ሌላ የለበትም፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { إنما تعبدون من دون الله } أي غيره { أوثانا وتخلقون إفكا} تقولون كذبا إن الأوثان شركاء الله { إن الذين تعبدون من دون الله لا يملكون لكم رزقا } لا يقدرون أن يرزقوكم { فابتغوا عند الله الرزق } اطلبوه منه { واعبدوه واشكروا له إليه ترجعون } . |
| Ma tnekôem, ihi, uqbel nnwen, nekôen leoyus". I iwatan, i umazan, siwa assiwev ubeggen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা যদি মিথ্যাবাদী বল, তবে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তো মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। স্পষ্টভাবে পয়গাম পৌছে দেয়াই তো রসূলের দায়িত্ব। |
| Literal | And if you lie/deny/falsify, so nations from before you had lied/denied/falsified, and nothing (is) on the messenger except the information/communication, the clear/evident . |
| Yusuf Ali | "And if ye reject (the Message), so did generations before you: and the duty of the messenger is only to preach publicly (and clearly)." |
