| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[28:27] | Qala innee oreedu an onkihakaihda ibnatayya hatayni AAala anta/juranee thamaniya hijajin fa-in atmamta AAashranfamin AAindika wama oreedu an ashuqqa AAalayka satajiduneein shaa Allahu mina alssaliheena
|  قال إني أريد أن أنكحك إحدى ابنتي هاتين على أن تأجرني ثماني حجج فإن أتممت عشرا فمن عندك وما أريد أن أشق عليك ستجدني إن شاء الله من الصالحين
قَالَ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ابْنَتَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ عَلَى أَن تَأْجُرَنِي ثَمَانِيَ حِجَجٍ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِندِكَ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed, I| أريد - [I] wish| أن - to| أنكحك - marry you to| إحدى - one| ابنتي - (of) my daughters| هاتين - (of) these two| على - on| أن - that| تأجرني - you serve me,| ثماني - (for) eight| حجج - years;| فإن - but if| أتممت - you complete| عشرا - ten,| فمن - then from| عندك - you.| وما - And not| أريد - I wish| أن - to| أشق - make it difficult| عليك - for you.| ستجدني - You will find me,| إن - if| شاء - Allah wills,| الله - Allah wills,| من - of| الصالحين - the righteous."| |

| «ስምንትን ዓመታት ልታገለግለኝ እኔ ከእነዚህ ሁለት ሴቶቸ ልጆቼ አንዲቱን ላጋባህ እሻለሁ፡፡ ዐስርን ብትሞላም ከአንተ ነው፡፡ ባንተ ላይ ማስቸገርንም አልሻም፡፡ አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ከመልካሞቹ ሰዎች ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ» አለው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال إني أريد أن أُنكحك إحدى ابنتيَّ هاتين } وهي الكبرى أو الصغرى { على أن تأجرني } تكون أجيراً لي في رعي غنمي { ثماني حجج } أي سنين { فإن أتممت عشراً } أي رعي عشر سنين { فمن عندك } التمام { وما أريد أن أشق عليك } باشتراط العشر { ستجدني إن شاء الله } للتبرك { من الصالحين } الوافين بالعهد. |
| Inna: "b$i$, nek, ad ak fke$ yiwet si yissi yagi, s cceôt a pxedmev $uôi îam iseggwasen. Ma tessawdev mraw, s leb$i k. Ur b$i$ a k hejjne$. Ad ak ili$, ma Irad Öebbi, seg iâaôviyen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | পিতা মূসাকে বললেন, আমি আমার এই কন্যাদ্বয়ের একজনকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহে দিতে চাই এই শর্তে যে, তুমি আট বছর আমার চাকুরী করবে, যদি তুমি দশ বছর পূর্ণ কর, তা তোমার ইচ্ছা। আমি তোমাকে কষ্ট দিতে চাই না। আল্লাহ চাহেন তো তুমি আমাকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ পাবে। |
| Literal | He said: "That I, I want , that I marry you to one (of) my two daughters, those two, on that you hire to me (yourself for) eight pilgrimages (years), so if you completed ten, so (it) is from at you, and I do not want that I make hardship/difficulty on you, you will find me, if God willed/wanted from the correct/righteous."275 |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years; but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty: thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous." |
| Pickthal | He said: Lo! I fain would marry thee to one of these two daughters of mine on condition that thou hirest thyself to me for (the term of) eight pilgrimages. Then if thou completest ten it will be of thine own accord, for I would not make it hard for thee. Allah willing, thou wilt find me of the righteous. |
