| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:49] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba laAAallahum yahtadoona
|  ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب لعلهم يهتدون
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Scripture| لعلهم - so that they may| يهتدون - be guided.| |

| ሙሳንም (ነገዶቹ) ይምመሩ ዘንድ መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب } التوراة { لعلهم } قومه بني إسرائيل { يهتدون } به من الضلالة، وأوتيها بعد هلاك فرعون وقومه جملة واحدة . |
| Ni$ Nefka Tazmamt i Musa, amar ad pwanhun. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম যাতে তারা সৎপথ পায়। |
| Literal | And We had given/brought to Moses The Book , maybe/perhaps they be guided. |
| Yusuf Ali | And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance. |
