| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:40] | Qala AAamma qaleelin layusbihunnanadimeena
|  قال عما قليل ليصبحن نادمين
قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ لَيُصْبِحُنَّ نَادِمِينَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| عما - "After a little while| قليل - "After a little while| ليصبحن - surely they will become| نادمين - regretful."| |

| (አላህም) «ከጥቂት ጊዜ በኋላ (በጥፋታቸው) በእርግጥ ተጸጻቾች ይኾናሉ» አለው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال عما قليل } من الزمان وما زائدة { ليصبحن } ليصيرن { نادمين } على كفرهم وتكذيبهم . |
| Inna: "garane$ d cwiî, a d gwrin di nndama". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ বললেনঃ কিছু দিনের মধ্যে তারা সকাল বেলা অনুতপ্ত হবে। |
| Literal | He said: "On what little (shortly) they (will) become/become in the morning regretful/remorseful ." |
| Yusuf Ali | (Allah) said: "In but a little while, they are sure to be sorry!" |
| Pickthal | He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant. |
| Arberry | He said, 'In a little they will be remorseful.' |
