| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:85] | Wayas-aloonaka AAani alrroohiquli alrroohu min amri rabbee wama ooteetummina alAAilmi illa qaleelan
|  ويسألونك عن الروح قل الروح من أمر ربي وما أوتيتم من العلم إلا قليلا
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً |
| Words | |ويسألونك - And they ask you| عن - concerning| الروح - the soul.| قل - Say,| الروح - "The soul| من - (is) of| أمر - (the) affair| ربي - (of) my Lord.| وما - And not| أوتيتم - you have been given| من - of| العلم - the knowledge| إلا - except| قليلا - a little."| |

| ከሩሕም ይጠይቁሃል፡፡ «ሩሕ ከጌታዬ ነገር ነው ከዕውቀትም ጥቂትን እንጂ አልተሰጣችሁም» በላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ويسألونك } أي اليهود { عن الروح } الذي يحيا به البدن { قل } لهم { الروح من أمر ربي } أي علمه لا تعلمونه { وما أويتم من العلم إلا قليلاً } بالنسبة إلى علمه تعالى . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আপনাকে রূহ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দিনঃ রূহ আমার পালনকর্তার আদেশ ঘটিত। এ বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে সামান্য জ্ঞানই দান করা হয়েছে। |
| Literal | And they ask/question you about the Soul/Spirit , say: "The Soul/Spirit (is) from my Lord's matter/affair, and you were not given from the knowledge except little ." |
