| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:24] | Waikhfid lahuma janahaalththulli mina alrrahmati waqulrabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayanee sagheeran
|  واخفض لهما جناح الذل من الرحمة وقل رب ارحمهما كما ربياني صغيرا
وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا |
| Words | |واخفض - And lower| لهما - to them| جناح - (the) wing| الذل - (of) humility| من - (out) of| الرحمة - [the] mercy| وقل - and say,| رب - "My Lord!| ارحمهما - Have mercy on both of them| كما - as| ربياني - they brought me up| صغيرا - (when I was) small."| |

| ለሁለቱም ከእዝነትህ የመዋረድን ክንፍ ዝቅ አድርግላቸው፡፡ «ጌታዬ ሆይ! በሕፃንነቴ (በርኅራኄ) እንዳሳደጉኝ እዘንልላቸውም» በል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { واخفض لهما جناح الذل } ألن لهما جانبك الذليل { من الرحمة } أي لرقتك عليهما { وقل رب ارحمهما كما } رحماني حين { ربياني صغيرا } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের সামনে ভালবাসার সাথে, নম্রভাবে মাথা নত করে দাও এবং বলঃ হে পালনকর্তা, তাদের উভয়ের প্রতি রহম কর, যেমন তারা আমাকে শৈশবকালে লালন-পালন করেছেন। |
| Literal | And be lenient/comforting/lower to them (B) the humility's/humbleness's wing/side from the mercy (be kind), and say: "My Lord have mercy upon them (B) as they (B) brought me up young ." |
| Yusuf Ali | And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: "My Lord! bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood." |
