بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [11:65] | FaAAaqarooha faqalatamattaAAoo fee darikum thalathata ayyamin thalikawaAAdun ghayru makthoobin
| فعقروها فقال تمتعوا في داركم ثلاثة أيام ذلك وعد غير مكذوب فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُواْ فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ |
Words | |فعقروها - But they hamstrung her.| فقال - So he said,| تمتعوا - "Enjoy (yourselves)| في - in| داركم - your home(s)| ثلاثة - (for) three| أيام - days.| ذلك - That| وعد - (is) a promise| غير - not| مكذوب - (to) be belied."| |

| ወግተው ገደሏትም፡፡ (ሷሊህ) «በአገራችሁም ሶስትን ቀናት (ብቻ) ተጠቀሙ፡፡ ይህ የማይዋሽ ቀጠሮ ነው» አላቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فعقروها } عقرها قدار بأمرهم { فقال } صالح { تمتعوا } عيشوا { في داركم ثلاثة أيام } ثم تهلكون { ذلك وعدٌ غير مكذوب } فيه . |
| Gezmen as ivaôen. Inna: "zhut deg ixxamen nnwen, krav wussan. Apan lemâahda ur nepwankaô". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তবু তারা উহার পা কেটে দিল। তখন সালেহ বললেন-তোমরা নিজেদের গৃহে তিনটি দিন উপভোগ করে নাও। ইহা এমন ওয়াদা যা মিথ্যা হবে না। |
Literal | So they wounded it/slaughtered it/cut it/made it infertile, so he said: "Enjoy three days in your home/country , that (is) a promise not denied/falsified." |
Yusuf Ali | But they did ham-string her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: (Then will be your ruin): (Behold) there a promise not to be belied!" |
Pickthal | But they hamstrung her, and then he said: Enjoy life in your dwelling-place three days! This is a threat that will not be belied. |
Arberry | But they hamstrung her; and he said, 'Take your joy in your habitation three days -- that is a promise not to be belied.' |
