| 1 [6:71] | Qul anadAAoo min dooni Allahi mala yanfaAAuna wala yadurrunawanuraddu AAala aAAqabina baAAda ithhadana Allahu kaallathee istahwat-hualshshayateenu fee al-ardi hayranalahu as-habun yadAAoonahu ila alhudai/tina qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawaomirna linuslima lirabbi alAAalameena |  قل أندعو من دون الله ما لا ينفعنا ولا يضرنا ونرد على أعقابنا بعد إذ هدانا الله كالذي استهوته الشياطين في الأرض حيران له أصحاب يدعونه إلى الهدى ائتنا قل إن هدى الله هو الهدى وأمرنا لنسلم لرب العالمينقُلْ أَنَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَنفَعُنَا وَلاَ يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَى أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ كَالَّذِي اسْتَهْوَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُ أَصْحَابٌ يَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى الْهُدَى ائْتِنَا قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أندعو - "Shall we call| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| ينفعنا - benefits us| ولا - and not| يضرنا - harms us,| ونرد - and we turn back| على - on| أعقابنا - our heels| بعد - after| إذ - [when]| هدانا - (has) guided us| الله - Allah?| كالذي - Like the one| استهوته - whom (has been) enticed| الشياطين - (by) the Shaitaan| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| حيران - confused,| له - he has| أصحاب - companions| يدعونه - who call him| إلى - towards| الهدى - the guidance,| ائتنا - 'Come to us.'"| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| هدى - (the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| هو - it| الهدى - (is) the Guidance,| وأمرنا - and we have been commanded| لنسلم - that we submit| لرب - to (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds| | ||||||
| 2 [12:21] | Waqala allathee ishtarahumin misra liimraatihi akrimee mathwahu AAasaan yanfaAAana aw nattakhithahu waladan wakathalikamakkanna liyoosufa fee al-ardi walinuAAallimahu minta/weeli al-ahadeethi waAllahu ghalibunAAala amrihi walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona | وقال الذي اشتراه من مصر لامرأته أكرمي مثواه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وكذلك مكنا ليوسف في الأرض ولنعلمه من تأويل الأحاديث والله غالب على أمره ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَاللّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذي - the one who| اشتراه - bought him| من - of| مصر - Egypt| لامرأته - to his wife,| أكرمي - "Make comfortable| مثواه - his stay.| عسى - Perhaps| أن - that| ينفعنا - (he) will benefit us| أو - or| نتخذه - we will take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وكذلك - And thus| مكنا - We established| ليوسف - Yusuf| في - in| الأرض - the land| ولنعلمه - that We might teach him| من - (the) interpretation of| تأويل - (the) interpretation of| الأحاديث - the events.| والله - And Allah| غالب - (is) Predominant| على - over| أمره - His affairs,| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the people| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 3 [28:9] | Waqalati imraatu firAAawna qurratuAAaynin lee walaka la taqtuloohu AAasa an yanfaAAanaaw nattakhithahu waladan wahum la yashAAuroona | وقالت امرأت فرعون قرت عين لي ولك لا تقتلوه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وهم لا يشعرون وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّي وَلَكَ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| امرأت - (the) wife| فرعون - (of) Firaun,| قرت - "A comfort| عين - (of the) eye| لي - for me| ولك - and for you;| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوه - kill him;| عسى - perhaps| أن - (that)| ينفعنا - he may benefit us,| أو - or| نتخذه - we may take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وهم - And they| لا - (did) not| يشعرون - perceive.| | ||||||
