| 1 [14:11] | Qalat lahum rusuluhum in nahnuilla basharun mithlukum walakinna Allahayamunnu AAala man yashao min AAibadihi wamakana lana an na/tiyakum bisultanin illabi-ithni Allahi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoona |  قالت لهم رسلهم إن نحن إلا بشر مثلكم ولكن الله يمن على من يشاء من عباده وما كان لنا أن نأتيكم بسلطان إلا بإذن الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنونقَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَعلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| لهم - to them| رسلهم - their Messengers,| إن - "Not| نحن - we (are)| إلا - but| بشر - a human| مثلكم - like you,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| يمن - bestows His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - of| عباده - His slaves.| وما - And not| كان - is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نأتيكم - we bring you| بسلطان - an authority| إلا - except| بإذن - by the permission of Allah.| الله - by the permission of Allah.| وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| فليتوكل - so let put (their) trust| المؤمنون - the believers.| | ||||||
| 2 [49:17] | Yamunnoona AAalayka an aslamoo qul latamunnoo AAalayya islamakum bali Allahu yamunnuAAalaykum an hadakum lil-eemani in kuntum sadiqeena | يمنون عليك أن أسلموا قل لا تمنوا علي إسلامكم بل الله يمن عليكم أن هداكم للإيمان إن كنتم صادقين يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُم بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيْمَانِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يمنون - They consider (it) a favor| عليك - to you| أن - that| أسلموا - they have accepted Islam.| قل - Say,| لا - "(Do) not| تمنوا - consider a favor| علي - on me -| إسلامكم - your Islam.| بل - Nay,| الله - Allah| يمن - has conferred a favor| عليكم - upon you| أن - that| هداكم - He has guided you| للإيمان - to the faith,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
