| 1 [2:190] | Waqatiloo fee sabeeli Allahiallatheena yuqatiloonakum wala taAAtadooinna Allaha la yuhibbu almuAAtadeena |  وقاتلوا في سبيل الله الذين يقاتلونكم ولا تعتدوا إن الله لا يحب المعتدينوَقَاتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلاَ تَعْتَدُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقاتلوا - And fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| الذين - those who| يقاتلونكم - fight you| ولا - and (do) not| تعتدوا - transgress.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - like| المعتدين - the transgressors.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:217] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alshshahri alharamiqitalin feehi qul qitalun feehi kabeerun wasaddunAAan sabeeli Allahi wakufrun bihi waalmasjidi alharamiwa-ikhraju ahlihi minhu akbaru AAinda Allahi waalfitnatuakbaru mina alqatli wala yazaloona yuqatiloonakumhatta yaruddookum AAan deenikum ini istataAAoowaman yartadid minkum AAan deenihi fayamut wahuwa kafirunfaola-ika habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunyawaal-akhirati waola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير وصد عن سبيل الله وكفر به والمسجد الحرام وإخراج أهله منه أكبر عند الله والفتنة أكبر من القتل ولا يزالون يقاتلونكم حتى يردوكم عن دينكم إن استطاعوا ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الشهر - the month| الحرام - [the] sacred -| قتال - (concerning) fighting| فيه - in it.| قل - Say,| قتال - "Fighting| فيه - therein| كبير - (is) a great (sin);| وصد - but hindering (people)| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وكفر - and disbelief| به - in Him| والمسجد - and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam,| وإخراج - and driving out| أهله - its people| منه - from it,| أكبر - (is) greater (sin)| عند - near| الله - Allah.| والفتنة - And [the] oppression| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| القتل - [the] killing."| ولا - And not| يزالون - they will cease| يقاتلونكم - (to) fight with you| حتى - until| يردوكم - they turn you away| عن - from| دينكم - your religion,| إن - if| استطاعوا - they are able.| ومن - And whoever| يرتدد - turns away| منكم - among you| عن - from| دينه - his religion,| فيمت - then dies| وهو - while he| كافر - (is) a disbeliever| فأولئك - for those| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those| أصحاب - (are) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:36] | Inna AAiddata alshshuhoori AAinda Allahiithna AAashara shahran fee kitabi Allahiyawma khalaqa alssamawati waal-ardaminha arbaAAatun hurumun thalika alddeenualqayyimu fala tathlimoo feehinna anfusakumwaqatiloo almushrikeena kaffatan kama yuqatiloonakumkaffatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAaalmuttaqeena | إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السماوات والأرض منها أربعة حرم ذلك الدين القيم فلا تظلموا فيهن أنفسكم وقاتلوا المشركين كافة كما يقاتلونكم كافة واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَات وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ فَلاَ تَظْلِمُواْ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَقَاتِلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَآفَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ كَآفَّةً وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| عدة - (the) number| الشهور - (of) the months| عند - with| الله - Allah| اثنا - (is) twelve| عشر - (is) twelve| شهرا - months| في - in| كتاب - (the) ordinance| الله - (of) Allah| يوم - (from the) Day| خلق - He created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth;| منها - of them,| أربعة - four| حرم - (are) sacred.| ذلك - That| الدين - (is) the religion| القيم - the upright,| فلا - so (do) not| تظلموا - wrong| فيهن - therein| أنفسكم - yourselves.| وقاتلوا - And fight| المشركين - the polytheists| كافة - all together,| كما - as| يقاتلونكم - they fight you| كافة - all together.| واعلموا - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| مع - (is) with| المتقين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 4 [59:14] | La yuqatiloonakum jameeAAanilla fee quran muhassanatin aw min wara-ijudurin ba/suhum baynahum shadeedun tahsabuhum jameeAAanwaquloobuhum shatta thalika bi-annahum qawmun layaAAqiloona | لا يقاتلونكم جميعا إلا في قرى محصنة أو من وراء جدر بأسهم بينهم شديد تحسبهم جميعا وقلوبهم شتى ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعقلون لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ جُدُرٍ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
