| 1 [2:71] | Qala innahu yaqoolu innahabaqaratun la thaloolun tutheeru al-arda walatasqee alhartha musallamatun la shiyata feehaqaloo al-ana ji/ta bialhaqqi fathabahoohawama kadoo yafAAaloona |  قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة لا ذلول تثير الأرض ولا تسقي الحرث مسلمة لا شية فيها قالوا الآن جئت بالحق فذبحوها وما كادوا يفعلونقَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ الْأَرْضَ وَلاَ تَسْقِي الْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لاَّ شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُواْ الْآنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - "[Indeed] it| بقرة - (is) a cow| لا - not| ذلول - trained| تثير - to plough| الأرض - the earth,| ولا - and not| تسقي - water| الحرث - the field;| مسلمة - sound,| لا - no| شية - blemish| فيها - in it."| قالوا - They said,| الآن - "Now| جئت - you have come| بالحق - with the truth."| فذبحوها - So they slaughtered it,| وما - and not| كادوا - they were near| يفعلون - (to) doing (it).| | ||||||
| 2 [5:79] | Kanoo la yatanahawnaAAan munkarin faAAaloohu labi/sa ma kanooyafAAaloona | كانوا لا يتناهون عن منكر فعلوه لبئس ما كانوا يفعلون كَانُواْ لاَ يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَن مُّنكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كانوا - They had been| لا - not| يتناهون - forbidding each other| عن - from| منكر - wrongdoing| فعلوه - they did [it].| لبئس - Surely, evil| ما - (was) what| كانوا - they were| يفعلون - doing.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:159] | Inna allatheena farraqoo deenahumwakanoo shiyaAAan lasta minhum fee shay-in innamaamruhum ila Allahi thumma yunabbi-ohum bimakanoo yafAAaloona | إن الذين فرقوا دينهم وكانوا شيعا لست منهم في شيء إنما أمرهم إلى الله ثم ينبئهم بما كانوا يفعلون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| فرقوا - divide| دينهم - their religion| وكانوا - and become| شيعا - sects,| لست - you are not| منهم - with them| في - in| شيء - anything.| إنما - Only| أمرهم - their affair| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ثم - then| ينبئهم - He will inform them| بما - of what| كانوا - they used to| يفعلون - do.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:36] | Wama yattabiAAu aktharuhum illathannan inna alththanna layughnee mina alhaqqi shay-an inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yafAAaloona | وما يتبع أكثرهم إلا ظنا إن الظن لا يغني من الحق شيئا إن الله عليم بما يفعلون وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلاَّ ظَنًّا إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يتبع - follow| أكثرهم - most of them| إلا - except| ظنا - assumption.| إن - Indeed,| الظن - the assumption| لا - (does) not| يغني - avail| من - against| الحق - the truth| شيئا - anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 5 [10:46] | Wa-imma nuriyannaka baAAdaallathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynamarjiAAuhum thumma Allahu shaheedun AAala mayafAAaloona | وإما نرينك بعض الذي نعدهم أو نتوفينك فإلينا مرجعهم ثم الله شهيد على ما يفعلون وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإما - And whether| نرينك - We show you| بعض - some| الذي - (of) that which| نعدهم - We promised them| أو - or| نتوفينك - We cause you to die,| فإلينا - then to Us| مرجعهم - (is) their return,| ثم - then| الله - Allah| شهيد - (is) a Witness| على - over| ما - what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 6 [11:36] | Waoohiya ila noohinannahu lan yu/mina min qawmika illa man qad amanafala tabta-is bima kanoo yafAAaloona | وأوحي إلى نوح أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن فلا تبتئس بما كانوا يفعلون وَأُوحِيَ إِلَى نُوحٍ أَنَّهُ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلاَّ مَن قَدْ آمَنَ فَلاَ تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحي - And it was revealed| إلى - to| نوح - Nuh,| أنه - "That| لن - will never| يؤمن - believe| من - from| قومك - your people| إلا - except| من - (those) who| قد - have already| آمن - believed.| فلا - So (do) not| تبتئس - (be) distressed| بما - by what| كانوا - they have been| يفعلون - doing.| | ||||||
| 7 [24:41] | Alam tara anna Allaha yusabbihulahu man fee alssamawati waal-ardiwaalttayru saffatin kullun qadAAalima salatahu watasbeehahu waAllahuAAaleemun bima yafAAaloona | ألم تر أن الله يسبح له من في السماوات والأرض والطير صافات كل قد علم صلاته وتسبيحه والله عليم بما يفعلون أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطَّيْرُ صَافَّاتٍ كُلٌّ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُ وَتَسْبِيحَهُ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| أن - that| الله - Allah -| يسبح - glorify| له - Him| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| والطير - and the birds| صافات - (with) wings outspread?| كل - Each one| قد - verily| علم - knows| صلاته - its prayer| وتسبيحه - and its glorification.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 8 [26:74] | Qaloo bal wajadna abaanakathalika yafAAaloona | قالوا بل وجدنا آباءنا كذلك يفعلون قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| بل - "Nay,| وجدنا - but we found| آباءنا - our forefathers| كذلك - like that -| يفعلون - doing."| | ||||||
| 9 [26:226] | Waannahum yaqooloona ma layafAAaloona | وأنهم يقولون ما لا يفعلون وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنهم - And that they| يقولون - say| ما - what| لا - not| يفعلون - they do?| | ||||||
| 10 [27:34] | Qalat inna almulooka ithadakhaloo qaryatan afsadooha wajaAAaloo aAAizzata ahlihaathillatan wakathalika yafAAaloona | قالت إن الملوك إذا دخلوا قرية أفسدوها وجعلوا أعزة أهلها أذلة وكذلك يفعلون قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوا أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَا أَذِلَّةً وَكَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| إن - "Indeed,| الملوك - the kings,| إذا - when| دخلوا - they enter| قرية - a town| أفسدوها - they ruin it| وجعلوا - and make| أعزة - (the) most honorable| أهلها - (of) its people| أذلة - (the) lowest.| وكذلك - And thus| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 11 [39:70] | Wawuffiyat kullu nafsin ma AAamilatwahuwa aAAlamu bima yafAAaloona | ووفيت كل نفس ما عملت وهو أعلم بما يفعلون وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ووفيت - And (will) be paid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| عملت - it did;| وهو - and He| أعلم - (is the) Best-Knower| بما - of what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 12 [83:36] | Hal thuwwiba alkuffaru ma kanooyafAAaloona | هل ثوب الكفار ما كانوا يفعلون هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Have (not)| ثوب - been rewarded| الكفار - the disbelievers| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يفعلون - do?| | ||||||
| 13 [85:7] | Wahum AAala ma yafAAaloona bialmu/mineenashuhoodun | وهم على ما يفعلون بالمؤمنين شهود وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ | |||||
