| 1 [2:59] | Fabaddala allatheena thalamooqawlan ghayra allathee qeela lahum faanzalna AAalaallatheena thalamoo rijzan mina alssama-ibima kanoo yafsuqoona |  فبدل الذين ظلموا قولا غير الذي قيل لهم فأنزلنا على الذين ظلموا رجزا من السماء بما كانوا يفسقونفَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ قَوْلاً غَيْرَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنْـزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رِجْزاً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فبدل - But changed| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| قولا - (the) word| غير - other (than)| الذي - (that) which| قيل - was said| لهم - to them;| فأنزلنا - so We sent down| على - upon| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged,| رجزا - a punishment| من - from| السماء - the sky| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:49] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina yamassuhumu alAAathabu bimakanoo yafsuqoona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا يمسهم العذاب بما كانوا يفسقون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - [in] Our Verses| يمسهم - will touch them| العذاب - the punishment| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفسقون - defiantly disobey.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:163] | Wais-alhum AAani alqaryati allatee kanathadirata albahri ith yaAAdoona fee alssabtiith ta/teehim heetanuhum yawma sabtihimshurraAAan wayawma la yasbitoona la ta/teehim kathalikanabloohum bima kanoo yafsuqoona | واسألهم عن القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر إذ يعدون في السبت إذ تأتيهم حيتانهم يوم سبتهم شرعا ويوم لا يسبتون لا تأتيهم كذلك نبلوهم بما كانوا يفسقون وسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ إِذْ يَعْدُونَ فِي السَّبْتِ إِذْ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعاً وَيَوْمَ لاَ يَسْبِتُونَ لاَ تَأْتِيهِمْ كَذَلِكَ نَبْلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسألهم - And ask them| عن - about| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| حاضرة - situated| البحر - (by) the sea,| إذ - when| يعدون - they transgressed| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath,| إذ - when| تأتيهم - came to them| حيتانهم - their fish| يوم - (on the) day| سبتهم - (of) their Sabbath| شرعا - visibly| ويوم - and (on the) day| لا - not| يسبتون - they had Sabbath| لا - (they did) not| تأتيهم - come to them.| كذلك - Thus| نبلوهم - We test them| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:165] | Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroobihi anjayna allatheena yanhawna AAani alssoo-iwaakhathna allatheena thalamoobiAAathabin ba-eesin bima kanoo yafsuqoona | فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به أنجينا الذين ينهون عن السوء وأخذنا الذين ظلموا بعذاب بئيس بما كانوا يفسقون فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ أَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ السُّوءِ وَأَخَذْنَا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ بِعَذَابٍ بَئِيسٍ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| نسوا - they forgot| ما - what| ذكروا - they had been reminded| به - with [it],| أنجينا - We saved| الذين - those who| ينهون - forbade| عن - [from]| السوء - the evil,| وأخذنا - and We seized| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| بعذاب - with a punishment| بئيس - wretched,| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 5 [29:34] | Inna munziloona AAala ahli hathihialqaryati rijzan mina alssama-i bima kanooyafsuqoona | إنا منزلون على أهل هذه القرية رجزا من السماء بما كانوا يفسقون إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, we| منزلون - (will) bring down| على - on| أهل - (the) people| هذه - (of) this| القرية - town| رجزا - a punishment| من - from| السماء - (the) sky,| بما - because| كانوا - they have been| يفسقون - defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
